I believe that this can be done in Tekkit (I know not vanilla minecraft lol) but still possible. I believe my friend said that it was some exchange system. But i don't remember correctly.
I would love to see someone separate sheep from cows, with both of them living, a decompreser would be coolto see to.
It would be helpful if they were made without mods.
Maybe a automatic mineing machine.
I'm not sure if sheep and cows have different weights. If they did a minecart system could sort them. Another way is to use a grass-eating BUD switch. When a sheep eats grass, this triggers a piston or dispenser to move the sheep out of the pen to another area. It would be a pain to get it right, but should be doable. The manual method is probably easier though still tedious, using wheat and a lot of fence placing.
Automatic mining machine: Step one, build a creeper spawning pad. (Iron golems will clear out the other guys). Step 2: get the creepers to come near and explode. Step 3: if you had good armor, profit.
I bet you can't make a race track for boats that has mega speed bosters on it and jumps
Now this is an interesting challenge. I can of course make a race track for boats. Boats can climb up water, but unfortunately this is very glitchy, and they need to fix it. Then boats can jump off. Ice under water, flowing water, speed potions, and speed beacons provide mega speed, I hope. (Can you enderpearl while boating?) All pretty good, but I'm not sure it will be as exciting as what you were trying to show.
Instead, how about a race track for pigs with mega speed boosters and jumps? I'm certain that would work and be a ton of fun!
Well, I don't really bet that's impossible, but i Skiing could be a challenge.
The only blocks in vanilla that can be diagonal are rails, water and lava. Of course, the approach solutions could be going down the montain on a minecart or on a boat, but to keep as much real as possible, let's try to think on a way to actually slide in ice, down and foward. Even modding seem to be difficult to implement, but as stated here (http://www.minecraft...c/13936-skiing/ ), "the game [or mod] could use regular blocks with drop-offs to tell whether you accelerate forwards or not. Like water, but with a shorter 'vision'".
Yes I've seen that video where a boat was retextured as a snowboard and water recolored white, and you're boarding down a course. In practice, that's good enough. Of course minecraft snow isn't like the same as real snow, but you could use varying levels of snow to make a slope. Build on ice so it's slippery. You'd have to test, but it just might carry your momentum down.
You win! Reflection would apparently overwhelm the game graphics. Of course it can be done with custom shaders and renderers.
But what would a mirror be for? To look at yourself or look behind you? F5 is your friend! To make a room look bigger or have a cool symmetrical effect? This can be faked by building with a glass or ice wall as a "mirror".
*smoke coming out of ears and mouth from overheating brain*
So, we are talking about version 1.4.7 right? So making a reliable movable power source would be a valid answer? I know that there is that glich, where a detector rail stays powered but that sometimes unpowers itself... So?
Although this does not have to do exactly with this, it kind of does,
The thing I have come to realize in Minecraft is: It is a sandbox game, yes, which means you can pretty much do anything you want in it. Well yes, we all know that. But it is also a sandbox in that the coding and the texturing can be customized beyond belief! Want a gun? Mod it. Want clothes instead of leather armor? Texture pack. Want new mobs? Mod it. Want more contrast? Texture pack. It is endless. Absolutely endless. Minecraft, is a sandbox in every way. We are lucky to be around in a time where we have such an amazing game to work with and meld how we want it. Whether we are playing it vanilla, and building whatever we want, or making our own mods, putting or taking out whatever we want in this game.
Thought about it, with some primed tnt spawners you can make the flippers beneath.... gravity pulls your "ball", no matter what, an undestroyable entity, falling sand would work nice.
Make some tripwire to score points by going through gates... You can make much with Mcedit

Flame charge.... Ghast.... Blazes....
Fantasy City beginners Challenge - around 90 percent complete

What's a decompressor and why would you want one?

I can make dirt into diamond block, but you can't take it. It's a visual glitch

I am amazed by it.
Amen. I don't use them now, but they are there are they are brilliant.
I do prefer vanilla, because I never get bored of it, but I do know that mods make Minecraft even more of a wonderful sandbox.
<--- What?
Objection!
One of these days someone will figure out how to make moving sculptor legs, and I will be a happy person.
(Fun fact: I haven't the slightest idea how redstone stuff works.)

Already done, had to stand somewhere and spam my sheers. If wool drop beast was sent left, if not right. Pretty easy and went surprisingly fast
