When I last played (a year ago almost to the day), I believe Enderman were implemented in the game already and that they were quite rare to see. As of the past day or so, I keep running into them very very frequently, not as common as a creeper, but I see at least 2 per day(based on the Minecraft clock), it's almost too common to me now. Am I the only one or are they this common for everyone else?
eh, I don't really pay them any mind. But I can tell you that they are always around when I don't need em, but when I do I can't find one for a Minecraft week!
What? No. Endermen aren't common at all. Not like they were in the beginning, at least. I remember seeing them as often as I saw zombies.
It's kinda weird that my gameplay is/was the complete opposite as OP. But seriously, in the start, Endermen were extremely frequent. I haven't really noticed an increase of Endermen, mainly because I almost never see them anymore.

Cigarettes are like squirrels. They're perfectly harmless until you put one in your mouth and light it on fire.
I thought Endermen weren't added until September of last year, in 1.8?
Anyway, their spawn amounts are random, only usually rarer than other hostiles. But 2 a day isn't that common. I have a world with a village in a desert, and I only get 1-3 a night.

If Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter were all destroyed, 99% of teens would go insane. If you're one of the 1% that would be laughing at them, copy this into your signature and hope it happens.
No I will not +1 you unless you say something worth +1ing. Respect is earned, not given.
I've found that the pumpkin head greatly reduces how many of them teleport away.
The pumpkin head makes you basically invisible to them until you hit them.

I don't see a heck of a lot of them. I remember they used to be a lot harder to find than they are now, but I think that has a lot to do with the End being a greater part of the game than it was initially. One way or another, I don't think I ever had difficulty finding an enderman when I wanted one. Maybe I'm just lucky.

Watch me mine for crafts, craft mines, fall down shafts and do a bunch of other things that may or may not involve blocks.
That happened 'cause the endermen decided to spawn in a clump, most likely of 5, and hadn't spread out much yet. It's normal and doesn't mean endermen are suddenly spawning everywhere.

"Sometimes, I just wanna give up, say 'I'm done with this mess' and go to bed. But you know what; you can't shrug off your responsibilities. You got to pull yourself up and meet the challenges head on. That's the only way you're gonna get ahead in life."

I "hacked" mine to be transparent.
If anyone wants to port/remake this, feel free to do that! Or don't. It's up to you, really.
I can't see anything. What are you trying to show?

Anyways, I really need the enderman's ender pearls, so I really don't mind them being common or anything.
