Everyone who plays Minecraft sometimes gets bored of the regular soundtrack for the game and so you would normally go on other websites and listen to some music I know I do that a lot but sometimes you get bored of your regular music so I'm asking what kind of music do you listen to?
List the Song and maybe the artist.
For me I normally listen to Some Nights by Fun.

Nice to know you speak for all of us. What else do I do that I didn't know about?
and so you would normally go on other websites and listen to some music
Really? That's what you would normally do, is go to a website for music? Whatever happened to firing up iTunes or, hell, putting in a good old-fashioned CD? (wow, a few years ago I never thought I'd say something like that . For you young'uns, a "CD" is a "compact disc." It's an optical-based medium for digital audio storage; kind of like your console video games, except they had songs on them. It's how we used to get our music back before there was such a thing as bit torrent, back when we actually had to go to the store to buy a new album...)

Yuck. It's not a bad song, I suppose (it's not good either), but my GF has waaay overplayed it and I'm pretty sick of that one. I always listen to C418 when playing Minecraft (look him up ) but otherwise I usually listen to some sort of rock/metal or electronic music. Lately I've been really into the "modern Scandinavian melodic death metal" (is what they generally call themselves. Or "Gothenburg metal" if you prefer, but they don't always like it when you call them that -- "real" Gothenburg from the early '90s doesn't sound much like what's being produced anymore, although I still like both styles myself )
Edit: Oh, you want some specific songs/artists?
Dark Tranquillity ("Gothenburg" metal):
-The Mundane and the Magic
-The Lesser Faith
-The Wonders at Your Feet
Demons & Wizards (Standard power metal):
-Tear Down the Wall
-Fiddler on the Green
-Blood on My Hands
Edge of Sanity (progressive melodic death metal):
-Crimson
Five Finger Death Punch (American melodic death metal):
-The Bleeding
-Meet the Monster
-Bad Company
Ludwig van Beethoven (classical/romantic):
-Ninth Symphony
-Moonlight Sonata
John Williams (classical/soundtrack):
-Superman main theme
-Ben's theme ("The Force theme")
-Duel of the Fates
Mindless Self Indulgence (industrial jungle ***** punk -- it's how they describe their style, if you listen, you'll understand):
-Bitches
-2 hookers and an 8-ball
-Mastermind
-Tom Sawyer
-Animal
-Pay for It
-Prove Me Wrong
-Genius
Either dubstep or rock. Just depends on what I'm doing. Prowling the End or building something insanely large requires dubstep. Other things need rock.
Blue Sky Black Death, a ambient techno group, they have some very relaxing songs.
my favorite: Gold in Gold Out
Have you listened to the Blue Sky Black Death / Jean Grae album (Jean Grae: The Evil Jeanius)? It's not "official" - actually the record label Babygrande stole music from both artists and released it without their consent, but it turned out amazing.
To answer the OP: whatever music I'm normally listening to at the moment. Recently, Future of the Left.

My 55-track playlist mostly contains power metal, with a few soundtrack pieces as well. I play this folder on shuffle whenever I feel like listening to music, including Minecraft.
Depends on what I'm doing really. Normally some nice relaxing Porcupine Tree, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Radiohead or some other acoustic guitar, but if, for example, I'm working on a map, I'll switch to something like Korn or Trivium to put me in the mood for some evil traps.
Big fan of RodGab here too . I'd recommend you check these guys out if you like any kind of guitar music. Any kind. From classical to death metal. Or anything in between. Just do it. You won't be disappointed.

Yeah I enjoyed IronMagus responding like a condescending asshole and then listing a bunch of garbage music himself.
Hey now, there's no need for that. I commented on one song, I even said it wasn't a bad song, just that I've heard it so much I've become sick of it. And you call me the asshole...
You don't like metal? You want something else? Here're some artists I like that aren't metal at all (okay Ludwig van's a little bit metal, if you really think about it. For his day.):
Adele
Florence and the Machine
John Williams
Ludwig van Beethoven
mc chris
Metaform
My Morning Jacket
Pink Floyd
Rodrigo y Gabriela
Tom Waits
Woven Hand

When I'm not listening to that, I tend to listen to the Eminence weekly music podcasts that they post up on YouTube.
Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War
Ace Combat 6: Liberation of Gracemeria
Ace Combat Zero: Zero
...and last but not least
LMFAO: Shots Ft. Lil Jon
my favorite: Gold in Gold Out

You think magic isn't real? Consider this: for every person, there is a sentence -- a series of words -- which has the power to destroy them.
