Also to all the people saying notch has a life and that we'll all never do as much as he did... put me in Notch's shoes! I'll hand over the game to a team of 20 capable and motivated devs and everyday you'll see an update containing what Notch couldn't do in a month.
How many hours of mentally taxing work can you do before you require a break? Is Notch a machine? Is he not human?
Do you have a concept of what mentally taxing work is? It's solving problems that have no obvious right or wrong answers, learning, growing, using your skills and talents and applying them to real work.
Notch made millions of dollars because his game became wildly popular. He is an indie developer, he isn't going to turn Mojang into a game factory sweat shop, he is going to develop games he wants to play, and share them with people who appreciate them. He will do so because he can, because he lives the indie dream.
Your post shows that you have never worked on a real project that required critical thinking, has a timeline longer than a month, or requires you to do anything more than procrastinate until the night before and **** something out that's about as worthless as your opinion on this subject.

Notch isn't lazy.. nah. He's selfish.
Actually. This is pretty hard to argue against. Notch had a hell of a time letting others into the source code. Minecraft is his baby, and he wants to develop it himself.
I couldn´t agree more with you, certainly notch is kinda lazy. Please stop arguing, you clearly are just fanboys with a lack of critic sense
Whatever life he has, he has a debt with his fanbase, of course he is not forced to bring updates everyweek, but seriously, 1 month updates for simple bug fix and/or meaningless objects which are overshadowed by user created mods (which appear everyday)?
Seriously who from here is playing with a 100% vanilla minecraft.jar? LOL, what´s my point? Does it make sense that just a bunch of users with no profits or earnings can create more complex content to the game than the guy who is responsible for it and has more than 3,000,000 dollar in his bank account?
He has actually added user created content to the vanilla jar instead of developing on his own, he is that lazy...
You seriously believe he is putting the enough effort to the game? He could easily hire some developers to do the dirty job for him.

everyday updates? everyday mods are broken? mod comunity dies, chunk of customers never return
everyday updates? everyday texturepacts are broken thanks to new items? texture comunity dies, chunk of customers never return
everyday updates? everyday severs are shut down thanks to management tools are broken? multiplayer comunity dies, a large large chunk of customers never return
hire 20 staff members you have to fire 6months later thanks to minecraft not selling due to it lost creativity, its comunity, and cool indie edge, nobody likes a sell out
No **** I'm hard to argue against, anybody who gets out of his fairytale for one second will see that Notch is a bad dev. The game has barely evolved in a full year. I don't care that he was indie, I don't care that he was alone, he has enough money to fund a team of 100 devs for years. He may stop working if he wishes so, he may keep the most of his money, but goddam can't he at least please 2 million people?

Oh hi, mod support. yeah, that thing he could enver do himself. Yeah, that thing that wouldnt break every patch. Yeah... that dream..
Here I'll add another couple counters :
we,re in 2011, seemless updates that dont require server shutting down is just common sense.
Also I said they could do in one day what he couldn't do in amonth, that doesnt necessarily imply putting out a patch everyday. You're just arguing for the sake of arguing..
here one last thing... nobody likes a sellout? http://mojang.com/ Implying this company doesnt exist for the sole purpose of funding other games. Do you see much but marketing there? Money money money.
obviously avoiding facts
sounds like you didn't even read it as it was nicely spaced/formated and there wasn't a single flame in it
you probably didn't read/acknowledge it because it refuted almost every point you made
The only update Jeb has made was the wolf one.
Well, you certainly enjoy writing them.
The enter key was used appropriately. They are called paragraphs. Enjoy.

Don't mention that word here. I disagree with his opinion, but he certainly isn't a troll.

he changed the OP to some random stuff about Anon...

kinda hard to do that with a new mod coming out everyday
