No I meant animals could poop randomly and then you could use the poop to make fertiliser (which is pretty useful considering the bonemeal "nerf") Also i'm not really a big fan of them.
I'd go get sp146x and ask him very politely to have Magiclauncher as the new official launcher. (After the new 1.6 launcher and all that...) Also I'd add heads being dropped by players/spawned in using commands. Yeah, that's all.
I'd add more mobs to oceans (i.e. mermaids, bass, octopodes/octopuses, barracudas)
I'd work with C418 to add recorder blocks that would store sounds from streams of note blocks, with the capability of being saved and put together in a crafting table to form larger melodies that could be showcased for other players as custom jukeboxes. These sounds would be saved in a separate file in the sounds folder.
I'd make jukeboxes redstone-compatible; rather than being right-clicked, records would be able to be ejected from dispensers or droppers and put into jukeboxes manually - with redstone, they could also be looped.
I'd change the sounds of jukeboxes and add "electric guitar" to the list of possible instruments
I'd add ore to the End with purposes to be determined.
I'd add furniture and colored glass.
If I had any say in 1.8, I'd work on improving end-game, working with Dinnerbone's suggestion to have the End open up to a paradise. I'd add underwater dungeons.
MOAR DRAGONS. (Jk, I don't really want dragons at all in Minecraft)
-More ocean feature such as Starfish, which could be a block rather than a mob. Sharks, which spawn rarely, as to not make crossing
seas even more frustrating, visible fish, and Coral blocks.
-New Nether Ore; Blackened Quartz. Same thing as regular quartz, just black.
-Music to be made more common. Its rather rare and I think the music for Minecraft is beautiful.
-Replace "most" of the cave ambience to be more cave like. I;e dripping water, footstep echoes, possibly cave "breezes."
-Implement old features such as Quivers, which are like a mini chest, where you right click in your inventory and it opens up 10 slots to put arrows in. Also, please reimplement Rubies. At least just for decour. I don't see why these were never made. They would be nice to use as an alternative Villager ore, possibly. Like 1 Emerald -> 2 Rubies. Or 3 Rubies .> 4 Emeralds.
-New generated structures, like a Forest Temple, which is like the Desert Temple but made of Stone rick, Mossy Brick, and Cracked Brick. Maybe a new type of Nether Fortress, which is made out of the new stained clay, for colour wise, Black Brown, and Red.
Well, I don't know if any of this has already been mentioned, but:
Hostile Aquatic Creatures/Mobs:
I think having aquatic creatures would make things pretty interesting. Sharks or something in deep water, which can give you shark meat and shark hide, which could be used for something crazy, like making a suite that allows underwater travel or something fun.
Make Boats Less Glitchy and Customizable:
Boats are terrible, the things fall apart by running into lillypads for christ sake. They just need to be made smoother, and it would be cool if we could make bigger boats that say, could be lived on or something neat like that, that way you can sail the Minecraft world and take your house with you.
Add Quest:
I think villagers, maybe a wandering NPC, or old tomes/notes you find could lead you onto a quest to defeat a certain new boss or explore an old temple/fortress structure that they lead you to, or at least give you the general direction of in some way, such as a map. With that being said...
New Bosses and Fortresses:
I think there should be new boss mobs or something added to the game. You know, big fights that require a little more than just swinging at the target for a few seconds. These bosses could be located in some larger, diverse auto-generated temples or fortresses, such as an underwater femple, or something of that nature.
Mountain Biome:
This may be a little too similar to the extreme hills biome, but I thought having a mountain biome would be cool. This mountain could feature new mobs, such as mountain trolls, and rather than being made of stone or dirt, it could be made of a tanner, rock material, which I've yet to think of a use for beyond looks. And when I say Mountain, I mean an effing mountain. Far larger than extreme hills.
New Mob Types:
I've actually thought of quite a few new mob types I thought would be cool. Heres the list.
Goblins & Imps - Goblins are a type of passive-aggressive mob that does not actively seek to attack the player, but will become hostile if you get too close to them. They are capable of building their own houses, and actively seek to take livestock (such as chickens, cows, pigs, etc), thus making them an annoyance to the player by killing them or herding them to their auto-generated camps. They will also set up camps near areas where lots of livestock are naturally occuring, and might eventually show up if they are being farmed for a long time by a player. They will attempt to break into your farming area and kill or herd them away. Goblins are capable of breeding, and their children are Imps.
Trolls - Trolls are large creatures that dwell in extreme hills biomes (or my previously mentioned mountain biome), or rarely in very large caves. They are passive-aggressive, and will only attack the player if they get too close. Trolls are very slow, but they have a wide area of attack with their clubs.
Bandits - Bandits are NPC that will rarely, but sometimes try to enter your home when your sleeping, and attempt to take things from chest if they are located in your home. You have a 65 percent chance to wake up automatically, unless using a door bell (item mentioned below). if the bandit manages to grab something, they will try to flee, but they might attack you instead. Killing them drops what they stole plus other loot. Bandits are less likely to enter homes that are underground, or heavily fortified. Bandits will also attack NPC villages at night. During the day, they tend to only be at their auto-generated bandit fortresses. Following one that is fleeing from you might lead you to one.
Vulture - Vultures are a flying mob that is normally out during the day. It will swoop down and peck at players, especially if they are carrying meat on them.
Sharks - Sharks are an aquatic mob that wonder around in ocean biomes. Players caught swimming in deep water might come across one and be attacked, especially if they are carrying raw meat on them. Sharks won't actively seek to attack boats, but they might if the boat gets too close to them. A player can fish for sharks in a boat using a harpoon.
New Weapons/Items:
Spear: This melee weapon can attack targets farther away than the sword, and can also be thrown. They do slightly less damage than the sword, and fly a shorter distance when thrown compared to the bow and arrow.
Battle Axe: This melee weapon does more damage than the sword, but swings slower and requires more resources to make.
Door Bell: This item will make a small chime when the door it's attached to opens. This will automatically wake you if a Bandit tries to enter your home.
Aquatic Shark Suit: Created from shark hide, this suit set (hat, torso, boots, and leggings) allows you to swim underwater faster, and not attract the attention of sharks while doing so in Ocean Biomes. The hat allows you to breath underwater for longer periods of time. You will also no longer mine blocks slower while underwater.
Incompatibility Device: Just for the hell of it, some device that does all kinds of crazy when used. I think something like this would be fun if you were bored, and i could be used in conjunction with entering a new location, obtaining new items, encountering new bosses, etc.
----------------------------------------
Well, thats really all I got right now, but Im sure other ideas will come about.
Oceans are common and interminable in my big biome worlds, and giving users a reason to make a boat and go out on the flat seas would be neat. They'd be like jungle/desert temples, except for the ocean. One or two chests, great source of gold, diamond, emerald, weapons, armor, and bones, but they'd be deadly to get to until you stocked up on water breathing potions. That would also finally give me a reason to brew potions. Make one of the ingredients shark teeth or squid tentacle or ink sac or something.
I'd improve the rogue like elements in Minecraft and work on more in depth combat. Along with a complete overhaul of the underlying mechanics of the game to reduce lag. I would also like terrain to generate based on latitude values and altitude, that way mountains could be snowy and jungle and desert biomes wouldn't feel out of place. I think that Mojang should focus less on adding content and more on making the game more of a game. I know Minecraft started out as a creativity toy, but with the addition of creative it can be so much more. I would love it to have more dungeon exploring and adventuring than it currently does.
In short, another adventure update. But better this time.
This should be in suggestions, but if I had to pick the theme for the next update, I would pick:
"The Food Update"
Cheese - Cheese is everything
The Frying Pan - allows you to cook eggs (for crying out loud) and meat over a fire (that is not on netherrack)
The Plate - allows you to place food down for aesthetic purposes (like cake) and eat off of it
Replace pork with bacon - Just sounds cooler!
The Cheeseburger - Made with meat, cheese, and bread, and is a block that you can place, like cake - It would look so cool! (And I don't think it sounds too "modern" - it's just a sandwich. We have music discs and futiristic daylight sensors and such - we already got out of the Middle Ages).
Wild berries - Just makes sense
We should at least get one of the above.
Oh, and just so no one complains and says "Too much food everywhere!" we should reduce the amount of hunger each type of food restores.
1.6 gave us horses.
And now it is phenomenal.
What would you do to change Minecraft forever?
(Dun dun dun!)
Didn't I warn you already? Hmmmmmmm, youngling?
Ugh. Not a Sky Boy but a ItsJerryandHarry fan.
JK.

/remove
First thing I'd do is /remove gold
Also, some passive ocean mobs. I'd also add monkeys so we can have an excuse to implement bananas.

2. Make Hunger Bar and new animal spawning as of 1.8 Beta optional

Yes he does.
Also...Atmostphere mobs!
