Why should Girls Treated Different On Video Games?! (Formerly WROS) A group pushing against unfairly/creepy treatment from boys on Minecraft, and the Internet Deticated to anyone who's suffered this
This is for girls on servers, who are treated unfairly or creepy by the boys.
A long time a, I joined a server one time, a boy said "We can boss you around because this is a boy's game". I left and deleted it immedently.
Today, I joined a spleef server to watch the spleef players. No boy would leave me alone. They were squatting up and down repeatedly. I left. I went on my favorite server and just minutes ago, all the boys did the same and said rude remarks about me being a girl. I told the owner, and he didn't care.
I am SICK of this behavior! I am DONE with trying to shove it off. I want to have rights being a girl. It's always like, "This is a boy's game." No it isn't. It's anyone's game.
I payed for this game to have fun. No, I used too, not anymore.
Help me by spreading this message. If your a girl who's treated like this, just say what you want. It's your choice.

Im a boy but I believe that this treatment is unfair. Infact on the server I play on someone just got banned for sexual harrasment. So I'm for this too.
I talked to the CoOwner of my favorite server yesterday. She said she gets that all the time. I'm young and
yesterday night something very scary happened that pressured me to change my skin.
Yesterday night, an admin invited his friends onto the server, I am an admin. A 14 year-old, several years older than me, told me he wanted to make out and make love. I told him to shut up. He said I love you a million times. I was so creeped out, I banned him. He saw my skin because he found it on Miners Need Cool Shoes. I am sick of this people! I am a lady, and wanted to be treated like one, NOT A FRIEKING SLAVE TO MEN. And this is all about your skin, which is SO WRONG. Girls are forced to:
- impersionate so they don't get sexually harassed.
- change their skins so they don't get sexually harassed.
And many girls play MC. Kids like, 8-10 years old. I'm 10.

Mom: GET OFF THAT GAME RIGHT NOW
People, DO SOMETHING!

I hate it how people act so different over games and the internet but would never dare do something like that in real life. I wonder how they would act around you in real life. Idk, some people are really immature. I would suggest to keep looking for servers where this does not happen. I am not saying you will find one on google if you search " minecraft server without sexual harassment towards girls" because that wont work. Trial and error. Join as much as you can, and see which one fits.
That would be better to do because although this does raise awareness, some people will never change. They will continue to be immature brats no matter how much times you try to teach them that it is wrong.

Maybe on your favorite servers, you can bring this to the admins or owner(s)'s attention if you really want this. Because most servers should have a "No Sexual Harassment" rule. On my favorite server I've talked about, my faction is pushing for these rules:
1. No Sexual Harassment
2. No "sexting"
And it's working !
This is not a real popular topic to talk about. I mean, no one EVER brings this to anyone's attention. And that's why it keeps happening!

As a matter of fact, when I first joined that same server we're talking about, Zheng(you know him right?) Was probably the weirdest guy in the world.
He was following me around, telling me he got me pregnant, saying he's gonna rape me, and telling me to make love.
Then, on another server I just recently joined (with Jen) This dude asked if I was a redhead(yes I am), If I shot a gun(yes I do), and If I wore short shorts(again, yes. I'm wearing them this very second).
Then, he told me I was automatically hot and he thought that I was even more sexy then the half-naked girl he was laying in bed with just hours earlier.
He was staring in the window of my and Jen's house, and scaring me half to death. I didn't want to seem rude, so I was secretly pretty happy when I had to leave. Then, the next day I joined the server(idk why) and was so happy when I was told he only comes on occasionally, even though he's the owner.
With Zheng, the owner you were talking about before just said he does it to all the girls, but when another girl joined Zheng kept harassing me.
I'm just lucky he became nice finally. That just happened to be when Shade came though... And you know what happened with him...
So, I am VERY against harassing and sexting on servers.

A few things, I agree with you. People who say to hide that you're a girl should just stop posting here. Why should you need to pretend to be a guy? Why not just prevent it at the source, also what's so hard about making it a rule?
I am a male and I have a sister who used to play MC, but she quit because of the harassment she got. i was an Admin on the server and ended up banning 5+ members for harassing the females. If you guys create your own server, i would love to join it. +1

If you stopped trying to brag about the fact that you're not a man, nobody would bother you... but when a girl on the internet consistently brings the fact that they're a girl to conversation, to the point that it's their sole character trait it gets really old really quick.
Nobody feels sorry for you other than self-hating, pathetic excuses for men. Complain when you've actually faced true adversity, maybe then we'll care.
