Who was then abducted by aliens, apparently. I guess it took the aliens a while to realize they had an extra passenger and make a stop back to Earth.

ChaosGuardian was forced to eat the letter to survive during the time in the whale and with the nasty alien food.

I just can't agree more on this. I tweeted this to both Jeb and Dinnerbone and hopefully if more people tweet this to them they'll see and FIX this! I would post some fancy mountain pictures but all my old screenshots are gone so just imagine this:

*LE EPIC ridicoulous mountain with overhangs and trees on it and a house on the top of it*.

What they changed in Beta 1.8 was in fact the biome system. The only terrain generator-related change was forced height.

They also refactored decorating. That was a good move, as biomes may completely override the decorator -> more possibilities that are not used.
