the most useless item ever is charcoal (unless playing a survival map)
other than that i would have to go with soul sand cause its not effected by gravity and only real use for it would be to trap mobs and thats pointless unless your planning on making a arena but then you would just spawn them
1. FEATHERS. Skeletons are a far far better source of arrows.
2. POWERED MINECARTS. These things are slower than sneaking. What are they for? You could design an amusing puzzle with them however.
for all thos dising powered minecarts let me give you a good example for a use
your mining you just found diamond but its night time and your house is far away you have a furnace and a chest plus some mine carts but your unlucky and cant seem to find gold so how are you gonna get your diamonds back to your house safely
one for smp
you and a friend are playing you made your own houses but their a nice walk away you guys havent found gold yet but god a mine cart system up in between your houses your friend wants something how are you going to send it to him without powered rails ????

Snowballs are all but useless; the only real use being to get your dog(s) to attack something.
Snow blocks are useless as they can melt and wool looks pretty much the same. The only use they have is to make ice.
And lastly Ice is entirely useless; you can't do anything with it and it doesn't even look cool.
Gravel I do not find useless. It can be used just like sand for contraptions that require falling blocks, and I like the sound it makes when you step on it so I use it for roads. Also, because it can't be crafted into things, it makes a handy lava flow patch kit. Don't waste precious sand filling in moats of lava while exploring underground! Use gravel instead! Chances are, there is plenty of it around you when you're down there.
- Snow can be made in to snow blocks, which look good and don't melt anyway.\
I would argue that snow blocks are in fact the most useless. Use them for building? There are more durable materials out there. Need them to fit the color scheme of a house or do pixel art? Use white wool. In the default textures white wool and snow look the same and so are interchangeable, but you can dye white wool so it is more useful.
The only way snow blocks are good for anything at all is if you have a texture pack which creates some difference between snow blocks and wool.
So yea, snow blocks are the single most useless item.
EVERYTHING! Minecraft is endless and so you will get new thing making old ones obsolete and in the process you will die eventually and therefore have to get items again! sorry had to be done.
but don't get me wrong i still love the game. :smile.gif:
um... dead shrubberies? Totally useless, except scenery... or... powered minecart? ...Actually it's useful if you can't find redstone. umm... I'll stick with the shrubs.

Not if you're messing around in the skylands. I built a house up there and I spawn on a huge snowy island, so I use snow as the ground.
And for use without mods, I used it to make a freezer, lol.

May the river of life flow well for you.
The world is so large, that you can consider it unlimited, diamond are unlimited as well.

Powered minecarts can't push anything as of 1.6
Leather - Iron armor is loads better, plus honestly its easier to find a load of iron ore than it is finding enough cows to make a suit.
Soul Sand

I'm better off going out and digging up 3 pieces of stone and making a stone axe. :biggrin.gif:

It is an item in the terrain.png notch just never implemented it. So it is an item and is pretty darn worthless.
Nice double post.
the quiver was never put into use

Oh, the irony.
