So, gravel in the Nether, and suddenly you're like "Nope, only allowed to add one. Two? That is a GIGANTIC number! No more overworld blocks in the nether! An entire one- did you hear that, yes, an entire one!- overworld block is in the nether already! None of this nonsense! And- oh! They have lava in there too! Noooo!"
And yes, I exaggerate sometimes.

I am so mad at the Sky fanboys who are like "ADD BUUUDDDER TWO MINCRFT CUZ BURDR Z SP ASWUM ND STUFZ BUDDERBUDDERBUDDER :D:D:D:D" that I am dedicating my signature to stopping them. I had gone into more depth, but the stupid signature limit stopped me. Oh well.
Yeah I'm against this. I'm for the other idea of changing the gravel texture for the nether to the old texture because it looks better in that environment. The red sand doesn't look good IMO. Leave it in the mesa.
The red sand just doesn't fit in the Nether. It seems way too similar to the color of lava, and would have been better off with higher saturation. Another note, this 'smooth' texture would seem out of place in the nether.

Chabge it to "Red Sand in the Nether".
What if the portal breaks and all you need is flint?
OT: Full support on Red Sand Shores.
"Wake me, when you need me."
what it really is: "A Small Nether Tweak"
as for the idea, it looks really nice:) i support it!
You're right. I am changing the title now.

If you enter the Nether without a Flint n Steel handy then you kind of deserve it for not being prepared.

This idea does not replace gravel with red sand, and the red sand generates differently. I must have missed your topic when I searched.
