A rain forest is a very warm yet well moisturized forest.
This biome could be a rare variant of the plan forest (kinda like the flower forest).
In this biome it will rain twice as much and will be 25% easier to farm trees and crops.
Also the grass would be much more vibrant (much like the jungle), and occasionally have vines.
maybe the trees could have jungle wood... maybe, BUT THEIR WILL BE NO GIANT TREES!
this video is a great explanation of how good farming in the rain forest can be:

How will this be different then the current jungles.
no, no, no. No Roofed forest, who said anything about it being roofed!?
like i said it will look similar to a plan forest. it's a variant of a plan forest : p

Some tree's are over 200ft in rain forests.
200/3=66
FALSE!
Jungles actually are rainforests in Minecraft's sense! This is because jungles IRL are less dense in their canopies than rainforests, not the other way around!

Why not just add this feature to the jungle biome?
My intentions were to add a new biome, not alter a favored familiar one.
but i suppose the thing I thought was so different from a jungle is allot similar then I thought!
So basically a tall forest that rains every day... Every world that I have ever been in at least rains every other day. wouldn't mind seeing it rain less in certain biomes, as it rains too much already. Well in my experience. And like the realization, yeah basically a jungle that rains every day...
I don't think i could even handle that. Doesn't sound appealing to me at all...

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
It's basically a forest with MORE ANNOYING RAIN!!!! That's a horrible idea! No support.
That's not a valid argument.
You're saying another feature's fault would make this a bad feature?
What if rain got a new sound? What if it's lagtastic mechanics were optimized? Would you still hate this idea?

ummm.... THEIR WON"T BE GIANT TREES! and it rains twice as much.
I told you it's a variant of the forest so expect it to look like one.

Basically like a jungle.
seriously? I thought forest meant forest, not jungle. :/ I didn't know they had 200ft trees.
but this is minecraft after all, it's not impossible for it to be like this right?
