I don't like having to edit my post and pop a new download link in. It's tiring when you have to do it after every single bit you pop on. So we can introduce the new RUS™!
RUS™ stands for Remote Update System. This would be a server where every Minecraft client that has turned RUS™ sends their saved games. Along with another way to share files, the files update themselves whenever the game save has been saved.
When you turn on "RUS™ Edit", any saved games from you are saved to the RUS™ server for easy file sharing and easy updating. Then when you put on "RUS™ Receive", any save games with a "file.rus" file in it will update when the server updates.
Then the file sharing. You would be able to go to "www.rusmc.net" where you can log into your account and access your save games. Then you can grab the URL and then share it.
Lucky last is the file.rus file. This file checks for two things; one is the Java code to see if the RUS™ Receive option is on and two is if you are connected to the internet. If so, the file will search for any changes to the file on the server and change the files when you run it.
Well, that's my idea.

I once heard someone say you could fight off the Ender Dragon with sticks. He was the smartest person I have ever met.

Why Minecraft mobs should NEVER have multiple attacks:
- No other PC mobs do. - Mob behaviour is intended to be simple.
Why you should NOT name new "special ability" weapons as "XXX Swords":
- No other swords have special abilities. - Make a new kind of weapon.
Of course it makes sense, you're the one that wrote it. Give it a few weeks and you'll come back to it and say to yourself "OMG, what was I thinking?!"
On that note, creating a shortcut to %appdata%/.minecraft/saves isn't exactly rocket science. Either way, a system like this definitely wouldn't hurt as it DOES reduce frustration and keep things a bit more organized.
So you want it for servers? This is thee most confusing thing in the world. Please say more than: read it. Also how is Mojang supposed to do this if you just trademarked RUS? This system sounds really dumb to me.

From what I understand, it's actually just an upload spot for local saves, a navigable database for maps through the Minecraft client (which is something I actually would find quite viable).
If I could play a custom map without having to exit MC and download it, that's always a boon. Unfortunately, the most clarification we got out of the OP is flamebait and passive-aggressive belligerence. I mean, why actually promote your idea when you can belittle your audience? Granted; Lai1999 wasn't exactly friendly; but the OP should've been above that.

A download link for what?
You can just go to C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves and copy and paste your world saves somewhere else to back them up easily.

If this is what he actually meant, then how did I managed to do that without RUS(TM)? If it was some sort of glitch or I am confusing something, then I guess I support.

What I meant is "assuming you don't have a map, but want to get one, you can navigate the RUS to find and download it to your /save/ folder and play it without leaving MC." It simply expedites a service.

Guys, he explained it precisely. Not difficult to understand. It just seems clunky to me, and there are other ways to have a file automatically synced with a server. Minecraft itself could upload the saves to a server of your choice (anywhere, really), then you give the URL (HTTP, FTP, whatever) to someone, and the Minecraft client of the guy downloading your save could check for updates whenever the save is loaded.
You could actually do this now with git and GitHub by setting up a repository at your saves folder and letting people pull every time they want to check for updates. I don't want to sound condescending, but git and GitHub are tough enough for adults to use (I'm not an adult, by the way), and I wouldn't recommend wasting your time on it now.
The problem is that I don't see why this would be very useful. Do people like to play maps made by others but not have their changes saved and instead get updates from the host?

You just showed how it would be useful right before you asked how it would be useful ;).

I'm 9, and it makes sense.

That explains quite a bit.
I know this is another one of those threads, but I'll bite. What happens if this "RUS" server goes down?

Ok, so what I can gather, you want a file saving system on multiplayer... Why? What files would you ever handle?

Also, you probably haven't trademarked it. I'm sure you haven't.
