Sony has recently removed the $99 price for developing games for the PlayStation®Mobile platform. This means that anybody that would like to make a game for the PlayStation®Mobile platform, you are free to do so and profit as well.
Although the SDK currently supports C# and soon Unity, I wouldn't doubt Java is on its way as well.
What this means is that apart from android based phones, the PS Vita will also get in on the action. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has tried replicating the MineCraft experience on our HBL/CFW PSPs but found it to be really lacking compared to the actual experience.
Ok, I guess this thread is mostly wishful thinking on my part, wouldn't it be a good idea to port MineCraft to PSM if Java ever became a supported language?
I do believe that their is actually a Megaconsole thread somewhere (where people say what platforms they want minecraft on). I am not sure where, but if you just search "console" it should pop up.

Ever hear of something called running away? Its like running towards them, but without the confrontation and death.

I think I read somewhere that it is only a temporary contract, and after x amount of months Mojang can make the game on more consoles.
I definitely heard about this, but I can't find the source.
Also, I wouldn't doubt a Cross-Purchase of Minecraft for PS3 and Vita as a possibility if they use the Vita SDK instead of the Mobile SDK.
the contract is ending in a couple weeks, jeb said he's thinking about it for ps4/ps3
Probably PS4. Releasing it for the PS4 would mean it would be run on a more powerful machine allowing for more features.
