Add a feather to an awkward potion. Enables you to fly. Effects last 0:30.
2: Potion of Lightning
Add a Blaze Rod to an awkward potion. Makes lightning strike the player if consumed. If thrown, lightning strikes that area. Effects last 0:01
3: Potion of Fire
Add Flint to an Awkward Potion. Lights the player on fire if consumed. If thrownb at tghe ground, that block will be lit on fire. if thrown at a mob, that mob catches fire. Effects last however long the fire lasts.
4: Potion of Defence
Add a piece of leather/iron ingot/gold ingot/diamond to an awkward potion. Simulates the effects of that type of armor. Effects last 1:00
Of course, there are extended and II for all of these, and if I come up with more I'll add them.

What? Why would adding a feather to chemical water allow you to fly?
Talk about illogical.

Seeing as blaze dust already does something, that would not be usable.
Also, how the hell does a potino cause lighting to strike?

I like the idea of a Greek Fire potion, but crafting it by adding flint to alchemical water is illogical.
4: Potion of Defence
Add a piece of leather/iron ingot/gold ingot/diamond to an awkward potion. Simulates the effects of that type of armor. Effects last 1:00
I like this idea.
And for once, the recipe actually makes a shred of sense.
... And this is coming from the guy who thinks that adding the dust from a stick of fire that cae from a creature who tries to kill you with fireballs to alchemical water to somehow make you stronger makes perfect sense. Uh-huh.

It does in fact makes sense.
First of all, it comes from a blaze. Blazes are creatures that spin their limbs around themselves in order to hover around in the thick nether air, and attack buy spinning fast enough to cause enough friction to create a fireball.
The blaze rod is part of a blaze. the blaze is made of a special substance that probably has some sort of special mineral in it that can strengthen you quite a bit.
However, I would assume that this mineral is broken down very fast in your body, thus making the effects temporary.
Oh, also, a concentrated amount of this substance(I.E. the dust or rod) is probably very toxic, and must be diluted in alchemical water in order to be safely consumable.
And those who are saying "Blaze Powder already makes Strength Potion", he said Blaze Rod. Not Powder. Rod. ROD.
Blaze powder is made purely from blaze rods, therefore they are the same.
I also have...
Adding Obsidian to Awkward Potion - Night Potion - Time is instantly changed to midnight. Adding redstone changes it to the beginning of the night instead.
What, how can drinking a potion change the fabric of time?
Adding a Rose to Awkward Potion - Love Potion - Does nothing on it's own, but it's Splash potion sends all animals in the vicinity to enter Love Mode.
That is pretty cool, although it should probably be made with wheat, and it needs to do something for the player as well.
Adding Cocoa Beans to a THICK POTION - Chocolate Sauce - Not really a potion :tongue.gif: Craft it with a cake to make Chocolate Cake, which heals 2 hunger points instead of one :tongue.gif:
It does in fact makes sense.

Ok, are you seriously arguing about how realistic minecraft is? It's a game :dry.gif: . And also, how is drinking a potion with a diamond in it giving you armor value "realistic", as you said earlier?

Well, it would only work if the diamond was ground up as dust, and then it would work in a similar fashion as the blaze powder.
I like these, although i find the flying slightly overpowered. How about it just slows your falling speed for 30 seconds, so it's impossible to take fall damage?
1: Potion of Flight
This one doesn't seem like a good idea to me if it lasts for 30 whole seconds. You can cover a lot of ground flying for 30 seconds. Maybe set it down to 7-8 seconds, and bump the Potion of Flight II to about 12-15.
2: Potion of Lightning
I like this idea. However, blaze rod and awkward potion already is in use. Also, how would you use this indoors or underground if it attracts real lightning?
3: Potion of Fire
LOVE THIS IDEA!!! But also, I was thinking that it should light more than just 1 block; maybe all in its splash area. I don't know why this didn't come in game, it's great! Also, you could use it to farm chickens without having to cook their meats.
4: Potion of Defense
Also a genius idea! It would be pricey at the higher levels but totally worth it.
