Oh. But no, I don't really mean anything with a somewhat high blast resistance for this glass. It just seems it would have a slightly higher blast resistance.
... No need for a 1-way glass. You only need a COMPLETLY sealed area, so.. House. And to prevent it from seeing you through a "completly sealed area" (door), long hallway from the door to the outside. And then glass to see through... Think of the creepers, buddies...
oh hey, i also wonder if theres a way to "shake off" an Enderman after you've caught his attention. do you think Notch is going to add some way to get them off your back?

That would be the same as neutering us. Why should our creativity be stumped by a mob? I don't want to have to make a completely sealed off house. I like looking outside! My house is the best around, and you are not going to take it down!
so, who's going to PM Notch or Jeb about this vision-distorting idea? it should be added! even with my idea of them giving you hallucinations if you look too long...

I don't think hallucinations are very good. I don't wanna be building a shack and found out I just build a house of obsidian or jump into a lake of lava while on fire.
I think just taking damage after too long would be good. Or at least having Enderman come after you when you stare too long.
Seems like a good idea, but in the long run not really. It wouldnt be adding anything new to the game. You dont want the same old boring distortion, it would just be annoying. It would be much more fresh and scary if he stood still, then after about 30 seconds of staring the beast began to change, and possibly the terrain(temporarily). But that same old "screen distortion" is very cheesy and boring -.-. Same idea. different execution.

Glass = Solid Block. You could still use glass. <-- experimented using SPC and TMI.

back to my hallucination idea! it would prevent it from getting boring, especially if it's at night! when i think of distortions, i think of the acid trip plugin that that one guy made (someone put a video of it in action around here somewhere....). the longer you stared, the more it would start to resemble that!

yes.
But I also like the hallucinated mobs idea. Maybe the hallucinated creepers could have a slight discoloration or make random jerks in other directions... or just not go for the player at all.

Back to my idea, why not just lose health after a certain distortion point. It gives you reason to look away. You can't just back up and run.

not just creepers, but other hostile mobs, maybe even other Endermen! the point is, if you see something trying to attack you, you're going to want to look away and attack it! so, the Enderman is going to do its best to get your gaze off of it so it can pounce! and yes, it'll mimic the sounds of the other mobs while in "hallucination mode," to make the dream more real.
now, i think that if you do look away from it, you shouldnt just snap back to reality, the effects would quickly fade away. so, the longer you stare at it, the longer it's going to take your vision to go back to normal.

Sacrifice... of... cooked porkchop?
Would they go all "Mind****ed".
What if a creeper were to stare at it. Will it look around suddenly. Spin in circles then detonate.
Skeletons shooting arrows randomly.

Say what you want, but I will be taking the cake."
i find this drawing extremely funny xD.
It remember me one time when i was inside my mini castle at night , and there was a creeper that noticed me and it was just waiting for me...
i was like , dont go outside , dont go outside.
i actually like this idea! it'd be cool if the other mobs just freaked out when locked in the discombobulating stare....

There's a little something I made.

I think I unlocked that achievement legitimately cause that Creeper is changing colors.
