So I was making a bed, I had 3 white wool and 12 orange. I thought, I wonder if I use my orange colour wool it will make a different colour bed(rather then red still)? But the outcome picture still had a red bed :sad.gif: I think you should be able to have different colour beds.
That is all. Thanks and sorry if its been suggested.
Currently, any combination of wool will make a bed. This is due to the fact that wool is all a single ID, the damage value is what differentiates the color.
It should technically be possible, as a bed would simply need to have copied damage values for it's various tints; but this isn't a pressing concern considering there's still much work to be done on the bed mechanic, let alone bed variety.
What is a colour? Do you mean a color? Yes that would be fepic.
Technically, he's correct. Colour is a British English spelling of the word. Armour, Honour, and other words follow the same tenet. It was Webster whom standardized the loss of the u from the words. Webster was also an American; and it seems only the US really uses this.
Why can't you get back on topic. Even words in US English are spelled different to mean the same thing (gray and grey)
TECHNICALLY: the word colour is the correct spelling of the word as from the Germanic ruleset. Say it aloud "Koh-lure", or often "kuh-lure" as it is easier to roll of the tongue. In either tense, the second o is meant to be silent, and it would be more correct to spell it colur, though it looks funny like that. I have yet to hear any native English speaker pronounce it as "Koh-lore" under standard practice.
On topic, I am in favor of multiple bed colors; though this is not a priority for me.

That is indeed a nice idea!
Would give alot more color to the game, the surroundings would look much more beautiful then!

it is possible. Have you seen the paintball mod before? If not, look for the thread, and watch one of the videos, the paint suits are made of red or blue wool. But, I never thought it would be possible before that mod.

You can't make metre cubed pieces of rock get jiggy with each other, that's just WRONG.
Because you guys are the ones who rebel against the "u" letter. Because in America, there is no "u"... It's just "me me me me me"... OBNOXIOUS CHILDREN OF THE UNDERWORLD!
All flaming aside, I support this... Wouldn't be hard to add damage values for beds...

Support Coloured beds!

"Colour" is how us Aussies spell it :tongue.gif: (British English)
Thanks, maybe we could get this added in the next patch with enough support?
Agreed, you can start off by spelling it with a U :tongue.gif:
Support Coloured beds!
Nah, everyone can shave off about 5 minutes of their life by not using the "u".

Colour is British English . -.-
Also, the idea is so obvious I'm sure Notch has thought about it. Maybe he don't like the idea, or it's not that high priority.
