I sold my Xbox 360 back in 2013 to buy an Xbox One so I will be getting Minecraft once more whenever it comes out in August. I'd more than willingly pay $20 for it again but I definitely won't turn down getting it for $5.
My friend and I are looking forward to the larger worlds.
I will definitely be grabbing the Xbox One version, I've starved myself of Minecraft for the past 4 Months just so it's nice and fresh when I start my new world.
Anyone else decided to cash in about a week of holidays for the release?
I sold my 360 back in March because we were led to believe it would be released that month since it was supposed to be a launch window title. I've been playing on PC while I wait but consoles are so much better. I can't wait for the Xbox One version. Too bad none of the people I payed the 360 version with have a One yet. I really need to find a new group of people to play next-gen games with.
Already have one and will be downloading Minecraft Xbox One edition on day one!!! Still have my 360 and play on there every once in a while. Add me if you like GT = Osiris Prime
Will be on daily looking to get into a role playing community once released add me if you have a server proposition might be willing to work on it to help upon release. Gt SNYP3R1 Age 23 Mic yes
Once I get my hands on an Xbox One you can bet your bottom I'll be on there. Cannot wait for some extra land in my city world, I can finally get around to adding some runways to my airport. It's gonna be awesome.
When I do decide to get a new gen console I'm going the way of Sony. I'd gladly pay the full price for MC again.
I can't believe some of you actually sold your 360s because of Minecraft! There are a ton of games I haven't played yet on the 360... I don't see MC as the be-all-end-all of the console.
I still have 2 xbox 360's, controllers and games for them. I will be trading all of that stuff in a few days before minecraft comes out on the new consoles. I'll either get a PS4 or an xbox one. Not 100% sure which one yet. I was dead set against the xbox one but they have made changes like you can get it without the connect stuff.
Minecraft and COD advanced warfare will probably be the only games I'll buy over the next year. I enjoy playing games I like much more than playing lots of games. I eventually would like to have a 24/7 server with the new consoles. I was running 2 24/7 servers with the 360's but got tired of griefing. I hope they get better anti-griefing tools.
One of the first things I want to do with the new consoles is push the limits. Maximum number of players, overbreeding, people in different realms, giant redstone lag devices, etc. just to see what we can do. Then I'll start a new world for long term builds.
I kind of have the TU blues. Typically about a month before we are expecting a title update I kind of don't want to minecraft because I know I'll be starting a new world because of new biomes etc. I will definetly be starting a new world with the new consoles so I'm in a waiting stage right now.

Hey anyone with the xbox one any ideas or suggestions for a headset. My current ones are broke and I want to get a good set but didn't know if there are any issues with compatability between xbox one and xbox 360.
I have had top of the line turtle beaches and tritons before but the last set I bought was some wireless X32 turtle beaches and they are bad. The wireless connection is constantly failing, having to buy batteries and sound quality. Instead of going to Best Buy I just ran over to Walmart and bought the best they had so that's how I ended up with this headset. I prefer wired headsets. Initial cost is not an issue.

Alternatively, you could buy an old Turtle Beach headset for cheap and buy the adatper for the xbox one and to save money. Or you can buy the headset for Xb1 Turtle Beach.
I too, shall be heading to Minecraft Xbox 1. I play on Hard mode & I build alot so I'll be looking foward to playing on a bigger world myself.
I won't be. If someone gave me an Xbox one, OK then. But My 340 isn't even 3 years old. On the other hand, my gaming laptop is actually twice as old as that and while it was super spiffy back when it was new, it won't run newer games and the OS is messed up. I have to use the family PC for nearly all PC games I own that have been released in the past few years. But I need a PC--desktop or laptop--that I can largely dedicate to gaming and not have to share with other family members here, so I'm saving up for a new gaming laptop.
I love my 360. I really do. I'll keep it until it dies. I love console gaming, to me it is a different gaming experience than from PC gaming. I love using a controller and prefer it far over using a keyboard and mouse. But getting a One just isn't doable with my budget right now and since many of my Steam games support the Xbox controller, that will have to do me until I have more cash flow.

I have the TBX12's with the Microsoft adapter and it's not all that it's cracked up to be. The volume controls on the TBs do not work on the Xbox One. You have to use the volume controls on the adapter itself... and the chat/game volume is one adjustment, unlike on my X12s which had a seaparate volume for chat and game. Also the headsets do not work seamlessly like on the 360. It's as if the drivers need to install each time you unplug and plug them in. I often find myself plugging my headset in and not being able to chat with someone I'm in a party with. With the 360, if it didn't work... I'd unplug then plug it back in and it would usually work. On the One, I frequently do the same with no change. I'll turn off just the controller and then turn it back on... nothing. It usually ends up requiring me to restart the system entirely... or reinstall the controller update before it finally starts working.

I won't be. Still have my 360 and that version of the game but will be picking up MC for PS4 instead. Then of course I have it on PC as well for when I feel like playing with mods.
I still don't know. I'm still torn with the One not being backwards compatible. I've put 7 long years into my 360 and loved every minute, not to mention all the money I've put into it. It's just a shame to throw all that away and only be able to play 6 games from my previous console, not to mention having to pay for them again. I keep being swayed with the new halo games and minecraft, but the backwards compatibility issue still leaves me hesitant.

I wanted to keep it, but I needed money to renew my Gold subscription and buy things for my One. I plan on buying another 360 as soon as possible.

Easy solution.
Keep your 360.
