The thing is that I'm quite sure skyboy can get the permission to post the compiled jar without any trouble, that's the main reason people are asking. I did not ask to any random user to post it since I did read their license.
My post wasn't directed towards you. There are a few users (not you) that have been asking specifically for the jars from others that are able to compile the library and create the artifacts. The license prohibits it and the the readme even specifically states "You CANNOT Redistribute this in its entirety as source or compiled code." In other words, if it isn't officially distributed, none of us who can compile it can hand it out.
A for me, I have been able to compile it, rather easily. It also runs and loads up when running through IntelliJ. However, I am having a problem creating the artifacts (the actual jar). I have tried both setting up CoFHLib as a standalone library and exporting CoFHLib class files into the CoFHCore artifact. Both of which give me the same problem. The class doesn't seem to have access to the net.minecraft.util library when executed from within a jar file. I blame this on the fact that I have only made very simple, single purpose mods for my own use and don't have much experience with downloading other people's git distributions.

EDIT: This may also be because I have never used gradle before. Am I supposed to use gradle to export the artifacts for me? Or should I be using whatever IDE I choose to use (Eclipse or IntelliJ) to export the artifacts?
The reason is simple: They're not releasing CoFHCore, Thermal Expansion, and Redstone Arsenal for 1.7.2 at all. They're going to be released for 1.7.10, which the Forge release will be out for tomorrow (assuming LexManos's internet gets fixed.) That doesn't mean you should expect these to be released right away, but they are working on it, and I know they've added a bunch of new stuff that makes the wait very much worthwhile.
As with all things CoFH: Be patient. It's worth it.

On a side note - I finally discovered that gradle can generate the archive for me after including CoFHLib. I didn't even need to open up an editor to get it to compile and create a jar. Looks like I'm going to have to research the gradle scripting and how dependencies are setup for it during the weekend.
Does anyone happen to know of any gradle how-to videos that they would recommend for people who had experience with ant?

If you're not using any of the COFH mods, you're stuck running something you don't need...and in this case, you're REQUIRED to have something you don't need that doesn't exist in binary form for 1.7.2.

He hasn't bothered to put in the code to identify whether or not the CoFH Core mod is installed and bind to the appropriate events - because he isn't planning on releasing it for a little while. That makes sense, thank you for the insight. Be nice to get a binary build of COFHCore for use with MFR beta...but if there's some reason not to, I can wait on both..
Hi! Using a sewer to convert xp to mob essence currently gives a HUGE return when using auto-spawners, around 700%. Would it be possible to add a config to nerf this down to about 10% of what it was before? This just makes any old auto-spawner farm not only produce essence, but mass produce when a grinder isn't used.
No? Massively game breaking bug/oversight here, can anything be done about it?

@skyboy - I wasn't speaking for you - I was speculating, that's all anyone can do at the moment with the limited info. All we can do is look through the Git contributions and the notes written in Jenkins. Looking at the post, yeah .. I can see why it was taken that way and I apologize if you were offended, but that's not what was intended.

Forge for 1.7.10 is actually officially out, now. Most mods (already out for 1.7.2) should work with it, but not all (and those that don't should require minor fixes to work.) The texture fix is nice, but there's a gigantic truckload of fixes involved plus quite a few new things, so this is actually highly beneficial to everyone.

I'm actually really glad to hear that. Does this mean MFR will have further integration with TE, as well? I've also seen some bits of the new stuff coming, and I'm really impressed with the CoFH team - everything looks great.
So, I was working on updating MFR today. Got all the configs setup again, all good to go. Then during the launch I noticed that the load time had tripled from five minutes to fifteen. Scanned the console a bit and noticed "greggy_greg_do_please_kindly_stuff_a_sock_in_it" and "MineFactoryReloaded|CompatIC2 attempted to register" happening quite a bit now. I don't recall this happening before the update and it seems to take quite awhile to do them all. Was this an intended change? Did something change in the interaction of MFR and IC2/Greg? Anyway to solve this? Should I just not update?
Figured I would add that I was updating from 2.7.7 to 2.7.9 when this all happened. I later tested the 2.7.8 and it has the 'proper' load time. So this appears to be a 2.7.9 problem.
Skyboy may have reached it too far showing his frustration.

Comments where removed by moderation but nothing for the intentionally broken code.
I understand it as: it is legitimate for mod authors to fight others authors with code degrading game performance.
Curse Gaming sort of agreed and caution this by removing comments but letting this broken peace of code for download from their forums.
Links to fixed versions of MFR are systematically removed.
Someone may git it to you in private.
Though the message should be clear.
Skyboy may not want you to install MFR alongside GregTech, so you may have to make a choice or accept the sanction of spammed ore dictionary, increased load time and whatever be added in future versions.
"greggy_greg_do_please_kindly_stuff_a_sock_in_it" doesn't stem from MFR as far as I'm aware, that's something neptunepink had in Factorization I do believe.

Does anyone happen to know of any gradle how-to videos that they would recommend for people who had experience with ant?
If you're not using any of the COFH mods, you're stuck running something you don't need...and in this case, you're REQUIRED to have something you don't need that doesn't exist in binary form for 1.7.2.
Beta or not, it doesn't make sense.

Curse PremiumSure it does. Skyboy doesn't want to setup a non-CoFH supported development environment and a separate CoFH supported development environment. He hasn't bothered to put in the code to identify whether or not the CoFH Core mod is installed and bind to the appropriate events - because he isn't planning on releasing it for a little while. So, it was left in as a hard dependency. When it comes closer to release, that will change and the CoFH Core will no longer be needed.

Curse PremiumSince I'm maintaining both, MFR depends on CoFHCore now, and will continue to. PCC no longer exists, and has been merged into CoFHCore. Don't speak for others.
That makes sense, thank you for the insight. Be nice to get a binary build of COFHCore for use with MFR beta...but if there's some reason not to, I can wait on both..

Curse PremiumForge for 1.7.10 is actually officially out, now. Most mods (already out for 1.7.2) should work with it, but not all (and those that don't should require minor fixes to work.) The texture fix is nice, but there's a gigantic truckload of fixes involved plus quite a few new things, so this is actually highly beneficial to everyone.
I'm actually really glad to hear that. Does this mean MFR will have further integration with TE, as well? I've also seen some bits of the new stuff coming, and I'm really impressed with the CoFH team - everything looks great.
Figured I would add that I was updating from 2.7.7 to 2.7.9 when this all happened. I later tested the 2.7.8 and it has the 'proper' load time. So this appears to be a 2.7.9 problem.
"greggy_greg_do_please_kindly_stuff_a_sock_in_it" doesn't stem from MFR as far as I'm aware, that's something neptunepink had in Factorization I do believe.
