I'm having difficulty getting this to work with the ores/infused stone generated by Thaumcraft. When it creates the settings by itself it's only set for Thaumcraft:blockCustomOre/5. When I try to add it during the game it fails to mine the blocks, and it seems to be getting overwritten when I try to keep it in the config.
Love this mod but can you help me how do I enable it so I may use my hand to hit the blocks and get them is there a way? Thank you so much love the mod!!!
I put veinminer into the Hexxit modpack and removed treecapitator (because conflicts may occur) But veinminer will NOT enable with commands or anything (P.S I put the config of the madpack's veinminer into it)
I was really interested in giving your mod a go in your video, I noticed that as you chopped and mined that particular tool's durability was reduced as if they it had broken a single block.
This seems extremely OP to me, so I am wondering if there this is configurable? That way I can better balance the mod.

Actually it reduces for every block mined, not just for the single block. It also takes hunger.
Any idea why Vein Miner doesn't work when clients are connected through a proxy, E.g Bungee cord? our bungee network doesn't let us use vein miner, but as soon as you use the direct ip, (Not going through the proxy) it works...

Does it work when on shift mode? Do the commands work?
I'm having trouble setting up a good config, I can't find the block id's for tinkers construct ores. I can't find the item id's on tinkers wiki, anyone know them?
My veinminer mod folder doesn't have a config folder. I checked in the .minecraft folder as well, still no config. I also checked every where in the mod folder. Any ideas?
Hey When I download veinminer and try to use it on the game it wont mine all the ores that are there and I tried to change the mode and I can but when I use a different mode it does the same thing doesn't mine all the ore please help. Thank You
Hi, I'm having a slight issue with veinminer, I'm using the 1.6.4 version, the one in the downloads section. My issue is that when i go to break an ore, nothing happens. i have it set to no_sneak mode in the config. And whenever i add a block to the list it says that it added (blockid):-1. I don't know if that is what it is supposed to say, but whenever i try to use my pickaxe to break said block (in this case it was Lead ore from Industrialcraft) it did not work. upon seeing this, is when I checked with the vanilla ores, and non of those would break at the same time, only the one i just mined up. Any suggestions would be useful.
The only problem I have is mining redstone. Does anyone know how to fix that? I have in in my pickaxe whitelist and I am using a pickaxe I added to the config file. In creative it works because the redstone doesn't light up but in survival it lights up and isn't considered the same block I guess. Please help! I am running minecraft 1.6.4 if that matters.
Trying to add the BoP gem ores to the pickaxe in 1.7.10 Vein Miner.
It initially added only BiomesOPlenty:gemOre/2, but not the rest...
Adding BiomesOPlenty:gemOre to the blocklist works, but also includes the gem blocks, rather than just the ores.
(BiomesOPlenty:gemOre 0,2,4,6,8,10,12,14 are the ores, and the odd ones are the gem blocks)
I tried adding BiomesOPlenty:gemOre/0 BiomesOPlenty:gemOre/2 etc throught the /veinminer commands, and It wrote it to the cfg, but when I restarted, it reset....
In the config screen, I could add one BiomesOPlenty:gemOre/0 but trying to add BiomesOPlenty:gemOre/2 after that, the add button lights up, but doesn't do anything.
Is there a correct format to do this in the blocklist, ie BiomesOPlenty:gemOre/(0,2,4,6,8,10,12,14) ?

That is a bug. Try the latest build (#14) and see if that fixes it.
No luck. I still can't add another gemOre in the config screen if there already is one, and using the command and then saveconfig adds it correctly, when restarting it deletes all but 1. It does say "Added BiomesOPlenty:gemOre/2/-1" when I add it, but just BiomesOPlenty:gemOre/2 in the config...

I guess it just ignores the redstone one because the leaves work just fine.
More specific, what you tried, what is not working, what other mods you using, what version.

Commands work, shift doesn't
