Okay here is all the new stuff I've made these couple of days on and off stream.
-snip-
Love the 'iron' block although it doesn't look much like iron. Still, could be cool used as vertical obsidian CTM or something cos the texture itself is really nice. Wicked enderchest btw, love the teeth!
I'm sorry, but is that stone? I don't understand the jukebox having stone...
It's actually the iron block under there. It kind of made sense to have metal inside a speaker, and once you see the other solid metal things I've made, it's kind of recognizable as iron.
Hey guys, someone was using my WIP pack, and they reported that they were having problems with seeing the grid on cobblestone tiles (which I assume is because it's a 15x texture mixed in with a 16x pack). But I had thought packs can now support multiple resolutions natively now. He is on 1.7.9 with a clean install, and here's a screenshot so you can see the problem he's facing:
Any ideas as to what the problem might be?
Tell them to turn off mipmapping. Any odd resolutions can't do mipmapping at all, sadly.
I think you should emphasize the joins a bit more on the top, it's so thin at the moment and there's so much detail on it that the thin line looks like a graphical artifact. Pillars are very nice though!
EDIT: Out of these two stone textures, which do you guys prefer?
I much prefer the first. It is has a unique design yet doesn't leave users questioning what it is. It reminds me of the stone in (I think) Summerfields which had similar vertical rectangle shapes.
Yea, I got the idea to try vertical stone from summerfields, it was pretty unique but very obviously rock. Anywho, looks like I'll be going with number 1 and making some more ctm. Stone number 2 is currently in the pack but someone brought up that it + CTM didn't really look rocky enough, it looked kinda jelly-ish. New one certainly looks rocky enough but still smooth enough to use in builds (probably :P).
New stone slab. It does that thing where it turns into a pillar.

Vertical CTM
Also it looks greatAlso thanks to sheep, I will be soon changing my Texture/Resource Pack from a Better Default HD pack to a Dark RPG version of the Default.
Nice to see someone else is working the Linux train. Might have to give myself a few bucks toward that also... Also seen that RPG maker XP on Wine seems to be ~alright~ on it... but VX Ace might have some issues... could always just use virtual machines.

That whole bundle is just windows, it looks nice though. I might just get it and wine it.

You never did add that highlight to the leaf on the bottom right... and did you decide to just leave it greyscale?
I decided to leave it like that and I couldn't get the colours to look right so I will try again some other time.
