OK SEUS looks amazing but I am having this weird thing happening. I can see the sky in the blocks I am breaking. I have a video but I had to post it to my facebook because youtube is on the fritz today. Anyway here is the link hope someone can see this and maybe tell me how to fix it.
I forgot to mention that my GPU is from PNY and not from EVGA. I don't know if their cooling is good or not but i might consider getting liquid cooling if I were to overclock it. I would assume that if I got an aftermarket cooler I would be able to squeeze more out of it right? If I were to hack the BIOS, would I see a big or small leap in performance? And would it be worth it? Getting a new MoBo would be something I would want to do, but that might be in a while because the performance is not bad but I would like to setup SLI on this thing.
I also have wanted to get a better monitor. What would you recommend that would be not to expensive but would have a much higher resolution like something with 2560x1440 and a much higher refresh rate. OK maybe that might be a little expensive but I would like to get a new monitor to replace the w2338h. Like I said earlier I also have wanted to get a better keyboard and mouse. I might get some Razer stuff unless you have any other suggestions.
Well PNY isn't as good as EVGA or any of the big brands (Sorry no disrespect intended), they have also had a lot of reports about bad VRAM and poor overclocking Hope yours is ok.
Overclocking completely depends on the individual card, you might find you can push it an extra 100MHz on the stock cooler before temps start to get too high, then water cooling it could allow you to push 200MHz, then BIOS modding it could push it even more.....
But if you haven't been lucky in the Silicone Lottery, it might only push 40MHz on the stock cooler and only an extra 30-40MHz even with a water loop, it might just be a bad OC'er and hit it's wall where it just won't go any further.
It's unfortunately not a guaranteed thing. I would recommend OC'ing it BEFORE you get a water loop just to see how it OC's first.
As for the MoBo, yeah that's not a massive issue, I only mentioned it as a better board would help with OC'ing your CPU. Personally I would say OC'ing your CPU would be priority at the moment, then move on to your 770.
Regarding your monitor, well 1440 is definitely awesome, the extra res will of course make for much nicer looking games. But, they are quite expensive, and the cheaper ones can be a bit ugly, the backlighting and colors I mean.
And for a high refresh 1440, well there are only a few available at 120HZ, 99% of them are actually 60HZ but just overclocked to 120HZ, the only one I can think of right now that is a true 1440p 120HZ is the new ASUS ROG one with G-Sync, but that's going to be probably around $600/£500!
Not to mention, playing a big game like Metro, Assassin's Creed, Far Cry..... that sort of game, to get 120fps at 1440p on ultra settings you will need a lot more than 1x 770!
You know what rig I run, and I do a lot of downsampling, which means when I play the game is rendering the image at 1440p, but even with 2x heavily overclocked 780's I can't hit 120fps in some games on ultra settings. I have to drop AA,, AF, AO or some other setting to reach that.

First of all: Awesome Shaders! I love using them and play with them. But I got a problem:
I got a FPS decrease from v10.0 to v10.1...That should be the opposite, right?
v10.0 -> 95-105 FPS
v10.1 -> 50-55 FPS
I'm using:
GPU Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 XT-Boost(Driver: 13.12 BETA)
CPU AMD FX-8350
8GB Ram, 2GB to Minecraft.
Any Help?
No that is correct, each new version has more coding and new features implemented so the performance does tend to go down.

Hi, here is a simple step by step guide to get Sonic Ethers Unbelievable Shaders (SEUS) to work with Intel HD Graphics. Make sure you read it Carefully and read the whole thing right to the end! You will see why
Step 1 - Get a Fire Extinguisher and be ready to use it! Step 2 - Restart your PC and enter your systems BIOS. (BIOS is the Nervous System of your PC) Step 3 - Increase your VCore (CPU/Processor Voltage) from 1 Volt to OVER 9000 Volts. Step 4 - Wait for the "BIG BANG" and for smoke, sparks and possibly flames to start coming out of your PC. Step 5 - Now your PC has blown up and is reduced to a pile off burnt plastic, go to a Computer shop or get someone with a "working" PC to access a Computer website. Step 6 - Buy a new PC that is "ACTUALLY DESIGNED AND BUILT FOR GAMING!" Step 7 - With your nice new PC that is built for gaming and has an actual, physical Graphics Card, come back to this website. Step 8 - Now, like it says to do on the front page in the very first line at the top in big bold colorful letters, "READ THE DESCRIPTION!" Step 9 - Now you have read the description and you know that Intel HD Graphics do not work because they are not a graphics card and are very weak/low powered, please install this amazing mod and live a long happy life playing video games, with the knowledge that you have learnt from your mistake and will ALWAYS read the description or instructions for "Everything" you install on your PC.
Of course I'm kidding, and I really hope you don't take offence. It is entirely meant as just a bit of fun/tongue in cheek joke and is NOT meant to be taken seriously.
I just wanted you to have a laugh at it but also understand that you should read descriptions or instructions BEFORE you install anything on your PC, regardless of how simply or harmless you think it is.
Again, just meant as a joke, hope you see the funny side of it.

Using the Optifine Shaders Mod 1.7.5 HD U1. I've also tried Forge, and just the shaders mod by itself, but it always gives me the same lighting glitch. Whenever I look down or face North, it gets darker, and there is a giant circle of shadow around me that moves with me. Also, I cannot see any blocks or items held in my hand, or my player's skin in 1st person. I've tried updating my graphics card drivers, but it didn't work anyway. The giant shadow circle glitch also happens to me using SEUS v08 standard, but it's a lot fainter and less noticeable.
Can anyone help me with this please? I love these shaders, but these glitches discourage me from enjoying them D:
Help please?

I have been playing Minecraft since September 2012. It's my favorite game of all time.
Hi Big guns here... I installed the shader on my mine craft but the way water surface displayed on my computer appeared queerly. I always have these small amorphous glitch on my water surface like the photo shown below.
I tried legitimate version and a piracy version...Both have the same issue. Also I noticed that when enabled Optifine My fps go from 45 to 30... hah ... Kind of ironic here.(Using Ultra Motion Blur)
My pc setup:
Cpu: Xeon E3-1230 V3
Gpu:GTX 750 Ti
Ram:8Gb (2Gb for minecraft... Tried 4 GB. no increase in fps and still have water issue so I switched back to 2Gb)

Now that I think about it, my rig is not that good. Its ok for playing minecraft considering I get around 500FPS but for other games that actually have good graphics, its not all that good. I mean I don't have a very good MoBo, my graphics card is ok but I could have done better. I just did not have the money at the time to afford anything better. During the summer I am going to get a job so I might be able to upgrade some of my stuff, but not all of it considering that pretty much everything in the gaming world is expensive. Hopefully I can get an awesome rig like yours once I get some money.
First thing to do is overclock my CPU like you said. Then I will see about overclocking my GPU. It would be nice to get the Vapor-X r-9 290x. That would be a nice improvement over what I have now. Especially since my current GPU is from PNY.
I did look up how much that monitor was that you mentioned and it is being sold at $799 over here. It would be nice to own one though. Maybe I can find on that has a better resolution but has a lower refresh rate.

Sadly there is no fix to this. There is a bug with your graphics card (the TX 750 Ti) that makes the water look like that. Other people here who have the GTX 750 Ti have posted about the exact same problem and its definitely not a coincidence. Sorry about that but there is no cure to your bug. If you don't look at the water, everything else looks nice and everything should be working except for the water.
Please post your system specs, graphics card including driver version installed???
There can be dozens, if not hundreds of different versions of a particular model. I Googled Compaq Presario CQ62 and the first variant I saw was running a ATI 4250 which would not have the processing power to run this shader, but then I saw there are a few other variants that have better hardware and might just about be able to run it.

I just got the mod and been looking threw the chat, and no matter the texture pack or if im on the default, my hand is black, I have no skin, and when I hold an item, I see nothing. Everything looks really really good, but Id rather play knowing what im holding with out having to look at my tool bar. Any ideas?
I got the 1.7.2 shader mod, and using this 10.1 standard pack. Sooo not really sure whats up. I haven't really messed with shaders before

Sadly, as MacNut already said, the 750Ti has serious issues with the latest Nvidia driver, this is Not isolated to SEUS, but also with a lot of shaders and other games as well! Be patient, there is a new Nvidia driver due any day now, it's actually delayed slightly, so hopefully next week it should be released and this problem with the 750Ti will (Fingers crossed) be resolved.

No no no, buddy you have a damn decent rig! A 770 is not to be sniffed at, it's a bloody powerful card. I was only offering my opinion as a point of, "Getting the absolute most out of it" sort of thing. At 1080p your rig is top notch, I only said you would need more power if you went for 1440p. 1080 to 1440 is a big jump, many people under estimate that. Your rig would absolutely hit 60fps in ALL games at 1440p, but you would have to drop some settings in game, you would only need more CPU and GPU power if you wanted to max everything at ultra settings.
Hey guys, I have a small Problem, i can't see the rain drops only the particels at the bottom even without any texturepack ... Is there a fix? thx EDIT: SOLVED!
Glad you got it sorted. If you notice a problem with rain falling inside buildings, or through blocks, click the link in my signature, there is a fix for that as well
I'm too lazy to type it all in so here you go. Thanks again, -bb1
That doesn't tell me the correct info needed, like your graphics card. But, from looking at the info it does give me, I don't think you are going to be able to run SEUS. Well not 10.1 Ultra anyway.
I mean no disrespect, but based on your CPU and RAM, I don't think your graphics card is going to be powerful. SEUS is made for high-end PC's with $300-$1000 worth of graphics cards in them.
Maybe try the standard version, but before you install it, lower "ALL" you settings in-game, render distance and graphical settings mainly, then try it and see if it will run then.

indeed it is
ATI Radeon HD 5670 card, driver version 8.850.0.0
and as for mods, Build craft, Rail craft, Mo creatures, Biomes o plenty, craft guide, tf2 teleporter/sentry mods, voxelmap, industrial craft 2, and of course the shaders mod core
Thats about it.
First I thought it was my texture pack causing problems, because it was painterly, but I took it off and it didn't change, and it said no where I needed optifine. And I would really rather now download it.

Arhhh, right ok. Well we know that SEUS works fine with Biomes O'Plenty and Mo'Creatures, but we also know that Build Craft and Industry Craft have had problems in the past and very recently with SEUS.
Can you please try by starting a new world, save it and exit. Then try removing a mod from your mod folder "one at a time". Then load the world, open shader options and disabling then re-enabling SEUS to test if that mod is the cause. If the problem remains, try removing another mod...... and repeat.

I removed them all to just the shader mod, and still the same thing. so It's not any of the mods.
if this helps, just screen shots of the options in game. If i switch it to the internal shader or to none, it goes back to normal http://gyazo.com/993...27a45cfd0599cbb http://gyazo.com/2e6...37fe72ec7372ecd
I forgot to mention some mods, but not like it matters now but just for the info, this is the full mod list I have http://gyazo.com/279...10d3808c14255c4
also running forge 10.12.1.1085

Ok, I would next recommend you update you driver as 8.850.0.0 is "Extremely" out of date, over 3 Years out of date!
[Update] This is completely off topic but I thought you might want to know. Minecraft 1.7.2 has a well known bug, where render distances above 8 (Normal) don't actually work, it was on the official bug list by Mojang and was fixed in 1.7.4.
Also, Mo'Creatures no longer requires Custom Mob Spawner, it fact CMS doesn't work properly any more, you can read many many posts about it on the Mo'C thread. Try installing Just Another Spawner, it works very well and allows you to tweak the spawn rates of all mobs.
Anyway it's just a friendly bit of info, just thought I would let you know, obviously it's up to you if you want to change it

Yeah they are a little harder to find now as once a card is more than a few years old, they drop support for them and archive the drivers.
Just Google AMD and download there Detect and Install app, you latest driver should be 13.** something.

Its not so much that, as it is I custom built the computer, so windows update doesnt really deal to much with drivers, and heaven forbid it updates a driver, so I useally just end up forgetting about them, but it works now. Thanks. driver issues. Hate them so much.

I guess so. It might not be the best but it is a good system. Especially at my resolution. But if I were to get a monitor at 1440 it might go down in performance.
I agree about the fact that the jump from 1080 to 1440 is pretty big. Once I overclock everything then I might be able to get some good performance at 1440. But for now, 1080 is great.

Standard is what I downloaded because I thought that "Ultra" sounded to advanced for my computer.
I turned down all of the settings and crap but it seems to still be doing the same exact thing.
um here's the Graphics card info
If you can't figure it out don't sweat it, I wasn't expecting this to work anyway.
She's an old laptop manufactured in like 2006 lol.
It's very nice though.

My PC Specs
I'm too lazy to type it all in so here you go.
Thanks again, -bb1
I got the 1.7.2 shader mod, and using this 10.1 standard pack. Sooo not really sure whats up. I haven't really messed with shaders before
Trust me, 50fps on a 7870 with this SEUS is brilliant, there are guys on here with 7970's and 680's only getting 50fps
Glad you got it sorted. If you notice a problem with rain falling inside buildings, or through blocks, click the link in my signature, there is a fix for that as well
That doesn't tell me the correct info needed, like your graphics card.
I've seen people comment on this before, it's very strange! Can you post your GPU and driver version please, also whether you have any other mods installed.
indeed it is
ATI Radeon HD 5670 card, driver version 8.850.0.0
and as for mods, Build craft, Rail craft, Mo creatures, Biomes o plenty, craft guide, tf2 teleporter/sentry mods, voxelmap, industrial craft 2, and of course the shaders mod core
If i switch it to the internal shader or to none, it goes back to normal

I forgot to mention some mods, but not like it matters now but just for the info, this is the full mod list I have
http://gyazo.com/279...10d3808c14255c4
also running forge 10.12.1.1085
No problem, glad it's sorted
My PC Specs
Standard is what I downloaded because I thought that "Ultra" sounded to advanced for my computer.
I turned down all of the settings and crap but it seems to still be doing the same exact thing.
um here's the Graphics card info
If you can't figure it out don't sweat it, I wasn't expecting this to work anyway.
She's an old laptop manufactured in like 2006 lol.
It's very nice though.
