Do you have a Nether Portal by your house? Lycanite Demon mobs can spawn from Nether Portals, (like Zombie Pigmen), unless you turn off that feature.
For the western mobs, majority of the cool ones i think of would fall under the dragon pack (wyverns, lindworms, dragons, sea serpents, etc.) Im hoping the dragon pack is coming relatively soon

I can send it to you if you want. The jar includes; The Medic, Scout, Pyro, and engineer with all of their sounds, so when they are angry, the scream their taunts! Hey Lycanite, I got this crash after getting smacked by a Trent.

It corrupted my world, so please fix this bug.
Gah, this is a horrible bug! I'm going to add some config options which will let you override the potion effect IDs for this mod, they're normally automatically applied but some other mods interfere and causes weird issues.
Anyways you can fix your world, but you will lose your player inventory unless you use an NBT editor. Anyways goto your saves folder in .minecraft or wherever (different places for modpack clients like technic), go into your saves folder find and go into the problematic world's folder then go into the players folder and delete or move your player.dat file out of there, you can alternatively use an NBT editor of some kind to edit your player.dat file I think and remove the messed up potion effect that the Trent has applied to you.
Be sure to load your world back up in Peaceful so that the Trent despawns and can't re-afflict you, although your player character will likely be moved back to spawn if the .dat file is removed.

Hmm well that's very odd. It could be a Nether Portal if you have one lying around open, otherwise, the Demon Mobs should be restricted to the Nether, you can set dimension based restrictions in the config. Custom spawners could interfere though along with other mods that like to spawn things.

Now they're burning down my base camp. . . which then spawns cinders on every piece of burning grass. . . man what a nightmare!! I'll go deal with the portal spawn thingy I guess. The jury is still out on the fire spawning. I have an outdoor witches caldron and a crucible. . so the cinders are kind of griefing me but I also like blaze rods. . . so 6 to one half dozen to the other. . .
I like the feature. . . now that I understand it. . . lol. Lots if cool new .cfg stuff. . awesome job.

Just had a thought. I've never seen any of your mobs underground! I would assume this was done on purpose because they're all biome specific. Have you ever thought of making specific mobs that would be found in underground caves, caverns, and mineshafts?
Could you make a config option to disable mob griefing abilities from this mod? Not a fan of mobs randomly destroying things unless its part of there attack like a creeper. Also keep going with your lets play. Love watching it but, its to slow coming out. Maybe once a week would be nice instead of monthly. lol

If you check SwampMobs.cfg and MountainMobs.cfg you can turn Ettin and Troll griefing off also /gamerule mobGriefing false should also disable it too, hope this helps!
I'll be updating my series soon too, the 1.7.2 upgrade put it to a halt really lol but if I get enough time this week I'm going to continue the series, I might reboot it in 1.7.2 but kind of following the story too. I might be starting another group series with Kashiaka and Quartzenstein too with an interesting format!
