I question the Wither Skull sitting there, but other than that, this looks promising~
The wither skull is just there cause they ported all heads into the game. They stated on their twitter that there will be no wither and no wither skeletons yet. So it's just available in creative mode.
Correct me if I'm wrong, cause I've never played the PC version. When throwing 1 item to the ground it remains pretty this, hencewhy the rail in this picture is thin. The more you throw down the thicker the 3D model gets. As seen in this video here
So it seems possible that they threw a stack of rails down instead of 1. Again, I could be wrong. At this point in time for me, this seems logical.
hey there is a possiability that you are correct i didnt think of that before
also anyone think maby we cant tell what that red thing behind the apple is because 4j is using a texture pack. i mean ive seen allot of texture packs where they leave everything the same but have like just a few things different. maby this is a hint of texture packs O.o

I'm pretty sure that red thing behind the apple is redstone dust.
Is there and actual use for mob heads? I know you can wear them and the can be decorative but do they do anything besides that? Like do they trick mobs if your wearing one say like a creeper head, creepers won't bother you?

As far as I know it's just decoration and fun masks. The Wither Skeleton heads spawn a boss after you prepare them (not this update).

Yeah, I think the discussion that went on AFTER I made my post pretty much has determined/confirmed that items will get thicker the more of them are dropped. The quality of the screenshot in that area is still not great though.
Awesome!
So we're getting an increased drop rate? That will be really useful.
I'd say it's my third favorite feature in the new update. The first one is the height increase, and the second one is the texture pack support
uhhh i don't know if anyone has noticed this yet but its safe to assume the building that they are in is part of a desert village
Nope :), It's part of the new Tutorial.

Yeah there 3D Drops, the mob heads i'm looking forward to though how to we get them are they only rare drops
Unfortunately, no; mob heads are not available in survival (same is true on PC). In any case, I tend to follow the 4J twitter feed pretty closely, and they confirmed mob heads are only available in creative mode.

Uhh . . . the 3d item entities have nothing to do with drop rate. If a player drops a stack of items, it will be thicker; and, if this feature mimics the PC, if you have multiple mob drops that happen to drop in the same square, it will also make a thicker entity (would make sense, as they seem to have issues with too many entities in Xbox edition; basically this reduces entities by combining them).

Oh yeah, that's true
It's not the drop rate that will increase but instead, stacks will combine to form unique entities in order to save some memory for the Xbox.
I'd hope so.
Stay fluffy~

I'd have to say it would be awesome, but then that would defeat the purpose of the Ocelots coming with the new Jungle biome.
Other mobs I'm not that bothered with. I just personally hate creepers, so the Creeper head would be tempting...

any way we can get a confirmation on the release date for the first texture pack relative to the release of the update?

Or if a biome change triggers a jungle biome in your world (without the trees, obviously).
I'd want the Mo Creatures, I don't care about those others.
