Ok. But also I just read a forum about the upcoming features for pocket edition, I mean seriously 4J, the pocket edition already has or will be getting new food and some other stuff but they are almost catching up and passing the Xbox 360 version. I mean can we like stop all other versions and get the Xbox version caught up to the PC version and when we get caught up we continue making updates for the versions. I mean I have to wait 4 months to get an update that doesn't include a lot when the computer version gets an update every month or two. Also I read that the pocket edition can have infinite worlds. Why can't we? I mean just include it into the update but warn people if they don't have enough storage they shouldn't load worlds that go infinite. Also, please include all the of the PC features that that the PC has now into tu14 so you don't have to update Xbox minecraft a lot. Please take the time to think about this. This would be helpful for me. Make more designs for paintings please too.

As someone who has MC PE... it has a REALLY far way to go before it can even begin to hold a candle to the xBox 360 interface, it has no redstone support to speak of and creative mode is lacking a the ability to pick and choose several items that are in the game (and you can't even use a crafting table to build them, because once you choose creative, you are stuck in creative and cannot switch back and forth between survival/creative... so you just cannot get or use items in creative mode... as far as I know, Redstone dust still hasn't been added to the game on the Pocket Edition... you have the Redstone block, but it doesn't drop anything when it breaks... or at least it didn't the last time I bothered to try it and I'm not going to try it again until I either hear differently or I see Redstone stuff added inside creative mode at least.

The available storage space (HDD) doesn't matter. What matters is the ram, graphics. etc. But I dont see the problem porting infinite worlds to xbox 360. The 360 has the same amount of ram as the ipod 5 (which is what I am typing with on this forum).

Why? What would that accomplish, other than making people who use the other versions mad? Are we supposed to sit and wait, with no updates, until the pocket version "catches up" to Xbox (which may never happen)? Also, you do realize that 4J Studios only port the console versions of Minecraft, right? It's not like they can control the pocket or PC versions and when their updates release.
What are you talking about? The updates we're given have a lot of stuff in them. Heck, in the last content update, we got an entirely new biome!
Do you realize how long that would take to do? If they stopped updating a little at a time, to try and get the 360 version "caught up," then the PC version would be even farther ahead by the time they got us to where the PC is now.
To get back on topic, the only thing I hope to see in the next update is horses.
Heh, I'd be happy with just a way to pick which painting your placing (either before or after it's placed) rather than the endless cycle of place, break, place, break, place, until the one you want randomly generates!
Well... I'm just new to this website and I've read over this forum and some others a couple times. In my mind, I believe we should get horses, anvils, the wither boss, emeralds, villager trading(with emeralds too), flower pots, red stone comparators, hoppers, new food(carrot, golden carrot, potato, cooked potato, poisonous potato, carrot on a stick), horse armor, ended chests, and maybe some fireworks. I would like to see more decor in minecraft such as more trees, biomes, flowers, insects, and maybe deer. This would obviously take a long time but it would be cool. Also, they should add a new dimension like the Aether. Also, a redstone block(like a block of lapis or gold or whatever) a coal block(could power a furnace to burn 3 full stacks of ore or something), mob spawners, new paintings, witches, witch huts, bats, and maybe pet lizards which could scare away both regular spiders and cave spiders. Sorry this is a big list but they could add all this which would make it a "Goliath" title update.
4J studios should make a "Harry Potter" mash up pack. That would be cool.
Oh yeah. I forgot we should get desert and jungle temples, trip wire, placable string, new types of fish, wood, saplings, flowers, and mobs such as deer, squirrel, ducks, beavers and alligators.
ive read all your posts, there are some serious problems with your thinking.
for one thats an insane amount of stuff for them to add.
just because the PE has new food doesnt mean they are even close to catching up to the pc, or even the xbox, last time i checked they couldnt even use redstone.
4j only oversees the porting of the xbox 360 version.
4j pulls a lot of stuff forward so in some cases our updates are slightly larger, with a few exceptions where they exclude things
the snapshots are not full updates so the schedules are actually very similar, the last update for the 360 was huge.
the last thing they need to do is bite off more than they can chew , or try to rush out updates.
people complained about the last update even though it was huge, case in point you. so no matter what they add, if it takes them a year to produce it then people will get fed up with waiting or will be disappointed cause it didn't have everything the pc has plus 100 more things.

Yeah, the updates obviously will never be up to par with the PC.. These are the things I want to see (Which I believe the 360 can handle and it wouldn't be too difficult for 4J to do..)
-Anvils
-Enchanting books
-Efficiency 5 (and all other enchantments the PC has)
-flower pots
-carpets
-stained clay
-carrots (carrots on stick too)
-potatoes
-quarts blocks, stairs, pillars, etc.
-name tags
-side ways logs!!!
-place-able string
-trip wires
===============
If I see all these in the next update I will be very happy!
Why does everyone keep going on about things that are likely not in the next update? I thought the next update will be 1.3.2? If you want to know what TU14 will have, then check the change logs for 1.3.2.

well since you know the programming required and its so easy you should add all that for 4j, im sure they'd appreciate it.

The 'easy' things would be the items where they can use existing code for, or just add new blocks/recipes:
-Efficiency 5 (just a modification on existing up to enchantment 4)
-carpets (use the basic snow for placement)
-stained clay (basic block with recipe)
-quarts blocks, stairs, pillars, etc. (basic block and basic shapes already in game...except the pillar)
-side ways logs!!! (just an orientation rule change, the logic already exists on various other blocks, like stairs)
The rest would be a bit more challenging (not necessarily difficult, but not as easy) as it will require additional coding to complete.
I'd actually like to see large veins of marble blocks...craft-able in to stairs, slabs, chiseled blocks, etc.
i would be SO happy to have the wither boss in MCX360. the enderdragon has gotten rather boring to fight even on hard. enderchests would be SO useful for when i have multiple bases/want to travel the world, the sideways logs would allow SO many new building options, nether quarts would be very helpful for when i want white stairs, i would definetly find carrots and carrot-on-sticks useful, so i have quite some expectations for TU14.

When did I ever use the word "easy". Seriously, go back right now and check. Find the time I said the word "easy". I wrote "not too difficult" which doesn't mean easy... It just means the amount of difficult wouldn't be ridiculously hard like programming in a wither or ender dragon....
Now of course i'm not speaking from experience or anything like that. I'm not a coder. But I do understand that 4J usually takes around 3-4 months to release a title update... in these updates we've gotten dragons, NPC's new mobs, biomes, food, enchanting, different blocks, upside down stairs & slabs, texture pack support, etc. (I could list things for hours). So when I say "not too difficult" i'm referring to things of scale or less than what they've done before...
I agree with you, Carpets, efficiency, stained clay, quarts, and side ways logs will be "easier" than anvils, potatoes, carrots and trip wire. But it's still all in the realm of reasonable updates.
By the way 4J tweeted about it, it sounds like that haven't even worked that much on TU14.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Religion, has actually convinced people, that there's an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of the day, and the invisible man has a special list. Of 10 things he doesn't want you to do. And if you do ANY of these ten things he has a special place, full of fire, and smoke, and burning, and torture, and will send you there to suffer and choke and scream for all of eternity... But he still loves you.
Things I would add (just having fun) - Ebony Ore Types, Blocks, Armor, Weapons, Tools, - Glass Weapons and tools - Pine Trees- Blocks, Wood, Seeds ect. - More craftable home items, (sofa, table, oven, fridge, chair, endtable, more picture frame pictures, metal torches and others) - more wildlife Deer, Snakes, Camels, Foxes, Walrus, Whale, Crab, Llama, Monkey, Duck, Turkey, Peacock - able to craft blacktop and cement - Riverstone blocks - Flintlock Pistol - New Enemies- Squorpions, Giant Spider, Skelton Warrior (sword), Skeleton Bezerker (axe), Tiger, Panther, Lion, Shark, Electric Eel, Ender Creeper. Just a couple ideas....some might be crap, but i think it would be diffrent.
I also forgot Redwood Trees, Berry bushes and more crop types. Also find books hidden in stronghold for more cooking recipies.

oh hi there
I dont own that gif by the way, dont sue me.
When did I ever say I knew programming? I just assumed that coding a friggin carrot is way easier than coding a wither boss.
And for future references, why not try being a welcoming veteran of the forum rather than try to be a sarcastic jerk to new members.

Anvils is in 1.4, TU14 will be only 1.3 so you have a while to wait yet. Unless 4j decides to bring something forward.
They have been awfully quiet on it. Probably spending their time porting everything to PS3 and getting the verion ready for X1 and PS4.
