Your first mistake is looking at Wal Mart. I've heard good things about NewEgg, but have never used them. I would also go with a desktop, personally, laptops don't have the greatest capabilities when it comes to graphics.

If OP was to post in the "Video Help" or "Computer, Software, & Technology" sub-forums I highly doubt he would ever hear from someone recording Xbox gameplay with a capture card.

Just buy them of the manufacturer's website, like Dell or Toshiba. They are the ones who make them so they might have the best qualities of their products....could be wrong though.

Mac? LOL yeah, that's great if you're the kind of person that likes setting your money on fire for the fun of it. You could build your own desktop, just as good, or better than that laptop for less than half the price.
Have some links, these components are just as good as what are in the overrated MacBook that artu speaks of:
The case comes with fans so, if you decide to build a desktop, the only thing you really have to find for yourself is a decent PSU. Sorry, I became bored and didn't feel like searching anymore.
EDIT: And a hard drive... you'll definitely need a hard drive. xD I'm so out of it today.
