No, Not yet..... Try using an extended Piston or a fence post with a pressure plate on top...... Just a thought.
Thanks! I finally figured out how to get pistons to extend and I've used them elsewhere. I've tried setting pressure plates on fence posts, but I'm not yet having any luck with that either. Is there a trick to getting that one to work?

They added the ability to put pressure plates on fences in the next update (Adventure Update)

like said we cant just et, you can use a slab but its a pretty chunky table at a block and a half height.
