Are you going to u. stained clay for the roads in the next update?
Yes sir!
I'm debating between cyan stained clay vs grey stained clay, and I've also thought of perhaps creating a texture pack dedicated.to.this map. I'm also creating a master plan for the cities development.

My roads are quartz for the white lines, and for the actual road it's grey stained clay, maybe black stained clay
Oh and I can make a signature for you if you want, or I can make a graphic for your map, like below, just tell me what style you want
Hehe, I've been working on one myself, using Helvetica, I'll see how mine turns out first, but thanks for the offer!
Also, on other news, Industria approaches its second anniversary! See the original Industria here, and I'll be later posting a map download for the (incomplete) map. See what started this!

Heh, 15,500 downloads. I don't see how this is possible because I have only 9,500 views and 3,000 more on MCPE Universe, and 9,500+4,000 is 13,500 so is Mediafire lying to me? T_T
I have a suggestion for a skyscraper called "The Rhomb".
Its base will be a 15x15 sphere, with 1-2 3x3 floors like that. The walls will be all glass, and floors will be inside the building. Then 3-5 3x3 floors with a 14x14 layout, and it keeps shrinking. Make sure that it reaches 127 block height with a spire made of bedrock with glowstone at top.
Also, my city will be 16% complete. Not bragging at all.

Hmmm, a tapering skyscraper? Great idea!
This shall come with a lesson in building skyscrapers:
Most office buildings are giant boxes. Why? When a organic shaped skyscraper is built, it requires much more precise constructions and also requires highly skilled workers. Not only does it cost more, the skyscraper, when built, gives less office space! Say, a 20x20 skyscraper gives you like 400 blocks per floor, but when the diameter of a skyscraper is 20 and it's a cylinder, it's way smaller.

Also, good luck on your city!
Wait, the only build I think that does that that's really roomy is the Shingle or something (lol). It's egg-ish but my suggestion could be bigger (nee-ope) or be an egg as well (that'd be weird), or maybe for 0.9, it could have stained glass (if there will be) but for now it can be regular glass. Also if you take the math in part, there can be a considerable amount of stuff in it, so it maybe wouldn't just be a pearl in the middle of the city.
Also, it'd be nice to add contemporary design that doesn't match anything ever. So 2100-ish buildings that look timeless.
EDIT: Also consider Dubai as an inspiration! I don't live there, but I think it's a cool place.

Eh, I will be building it, alas, much larger than the dimensions you gave me so that it's actually scale-ish ~1:1.
I'm thinking it'll look like 30 St Mary Axe in London. It's certainly egg-shaped and still contains ~47,000 Sq. M in space.
Concerning Dubai, it's a hellhole. The desert and a giant city don't match. The skyline is not any bit proportional and it's quite ugly with that giant stick sticking out of the desert. I don't like it. I take Toronto as a example C:

More progress and I've included landscape-ish things. A fountain too. And progress on a highway. Oh, some are taken with the Pamplemousse texture pack. It's wonderful.

Video by I Wolf : Minecraft Pocket Edition [HD-FR], it's in French, so Francophones and stuff watch this. Luckily the Ontario curriculum mandates French!
Bad editing on his part. Dammit XD
First, with MCPE shaders:
Just regular building now:
