Alright, for those of you who use magic launcher, DITCH IT. Magic Launcher is very frustrating and has been known to fail a lot. A program that I now use to install mods in a similar manner is one called MultiMC. It gets modloader, forge, and optifine to work together and as a result I am able to use battlegear to its full extent. I like it a lot better and I recommend it to you all. :3

In my opinion, yo should try avoiding forge as much as possible. It causes to many errors.
I disagree. Forge is an essential part of many mods, and I have got it to work with optifine via multimc. So, once again to everyone, ditch magic launcher and use MultiMC. Thanks!

According to people on the forums, the latest version of ModloaderMP and Forge are NOT compatible. Also, it seems in the error reports you where able to give, it says
"java.lang.NullPointerException at com.pclewis.mcpatcher.mod.Colorizer.colorizeBiome(Colorizer.java:134) at ky.<init>(SourceFile:12) at l.b(RenderGlobal.java:1881) at l.a(RenderGlobal.java:1824) at xd.a(World.java:1514) at agv.b(SourceFile:218) at xd.v(World.java:3671) at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.k(Minecraft.java:1880) at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.x(Minecraft.java:822) at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.run(Minecraft.java:750) at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)" Which I believe means that the .class files have encountered an exception to their programming. This is just a silly topic... Delete all mods for magic launcher, and try from the beginning, testing after each mod is installed...

Well, as I have said three times now, Magic Launcher has been known to fail, so use MultiMC instead. And I already figured out the modloader MP thing... a previous post said that. Anyways, read the previous posts in order to fully understand the current standings on the situation... otherwise, I doubt you would have said that. Thanks for the help anyways LOL! Well, how do I close this topic and mark it as resolved?
do you really need optifine in there, optifine doesnt work with modloder otherwise if you try it will crash, delete you .minecraft folder log in and you will have a new .minecraft folder, put modloader and forge using your magic launcher,do not put optifine otherwise it will not work.
Walkaround:There are a few mods that do not require modloader or forge or anything,Single player Commands mod works fine with optifine and optifine works fine as well and it is like 100 mods in one so you do tons of things
Forge also has many errors such as leaves not spawning on trees if you generate a new world which is very odd

I'm sorry for my rudeness in the posts before, I honestly don't know what I was thinking... Single Player Commands is a great mod. However, some mods do require forge, and for that either MultiMC needs to be used or everything must be installed manually.
STFU you, I read now the hole post, and I found a little solution, it's not magic launcher, it's forge, because forge has modloader so, delete your modloader and forge will not give any errors! only optifine, but the mod works fine, even with 3 errors, so 1) forge 2) other mods 3) last: optifine!
Me being ragey again, needed to edit this post... But anyway, since the update of forge, it does indeed have modloader contained within it. However, the solution you suggested didn't work for me and several others in this thread.
MultiMC does not do what krk604 says it does. It doesn't install mods. I don't know what he;s using but it's not that.
Yes, it does. Right-click on an instance and hit "edit mods". Look it up. I'll even be nice enough to give you a link: http://forkk.net/MultiMC/ I am indeed using MultiMC.
I have a problem i have installed modloader but ti says no mods found(i have minecraft 1.3.1)but the player api mod says its ok(the mods are updated)i try to install for example the smart moving mod but ti says no modloader what do i have to do?
I would hit the "test" button at the bottom and see if it works. Also, I may not be right, but I think Modloader hasn't been updated to 1.3.1 because that version of minecraft has its own modloader. Maybe. If the testing does not work, get rid of modloader and test, and if that fails, then uninstall/reinstall everything and try those two things again. If that doesn't work, then tell me what happened.

i installed it and all the mods were ok but when i tested it seid mojang than it whent blank pl help someone pls
Jackstawow: This may be just a glitch in magic launcher. It often says that there are errors when there are none. Test it, and see what happens. If it doesn't work then uninstall/reinstall everything.
Dunney13: If there were no errors next to the mods, and the testing failed, then there is definitely something wrong with Magic Launcher's error system. Do the same thing. Uninstall/Reinstall everything. Also, make sure that your Modloader is first and if you have it, optifine is last. Forge should be right after modloader if you have that too. LOL otherwise, I can't help you because thats similar to the problem I had when I first created this thread.

dont know if this is any help but i was using magiclauncher with forge and modloader not sure if i had modloadermp though, anyways i was getting the same problem as you krk, i ended up having to install use optifine first then manually install the modloader and then used the magiclauncher to install forge and the other mods i was using, or something like that i dunno it was a confusing hassle and i was faded at the time as well making it all the more confusing xD but i did end up getting them all to work together, of course i was getting the errors with mods in magiclauncher on mods i knew worked so your definitely right somethings wrong with the launcher so im going to check out that multimc, i heard good things about it other places as well and being able to run multiple versions is like the holy grail for me because im a mod ***** and not all mods works for each version so its nice to be able to have multiple versions all modded differently

It sounds to me like magic launcher is WAY too much of a hassle... so yeah MultiMC is pretty much like the holy grail LOL! Someone should send a message to the developer of Magic Launcher about the obvious error problem... maybe I will. I will also notify him of the problems people are having here. I would still rather use MultiMC, but for those of you that really like magic launcher maybe he can fix it. Thanks! krk064

Magic Launcher will say that Optifine is incompatible with Forge, because generally mods that overwrite the same vanilla classes break each other, but Optifine actually includes the parts of Forge it overwrites.
I don't really use this forum anymore

Thank you kind sir. Now everything works for me!
Minecraft Forge 3.3.7.135 actually has Modloader on it.
So the solution is to remove
Modloader and replace it with Forge. Then put it on the top or below that and there you go.
I have the mods arranged like this
minecraftforge ok
audiomod ok
optifine ok
If it doesn't work, Ill find another way.
