The purchase that gave you access to Minecraft has been reversed upon request. This means that you no longer will be able to play the game.
If you received an email containing this message, then your Minecraft purchase has been reversed. You will most likely need to contact your bank or skrill to find out why the purchase was reversed.
If you purchased the game from a reseller, the original buyer may have requested a refund. In which case, Mojang will be unable to assist you. Please only purchase Minecraft from Minecraft.net.
i havent bought my game from anyone i got it like 2 years ago with minecraft.net now i cant even play mc unless its in demo mode.. wtf?! why ? i tried to reg and now its saying i can only play in demo...
Why did this happen? Wtf? My dad won't let me get another Minecraft account! Please guys can this be fixed? I still have my transaction id.
It happened today. I logged out of minecraft and then i logged back in and it said "Welcome player". I thought this was a bug but i realised I was wrong after finding that the button 'Play' Changed to "Play Demo". HELP. You don't understand. I want my account back.
Hello, MyName!
Upon request, your transaction ############ has been reversed. This means that your purchase of Minecraft is no longer valid, and that you no longer will be able to play the game. The amount of $26.95 will be returned to you. Please note that this may take a couple of days.
If you believe that this reversal has been made in error, or have any other questions please contact customer support.
Take care, Mojang.
Obviously quite a lot people are affected by the same issue and all my researches lead to one common origin:
Minecraft keys bought from mmoga.
So I tried to figure out what is going on and had a closer look at their website.
And suprisingly there was no option to buy Minecraft there anymore.
Two days ago, a friend of mine bought one MC Key right there.
So let's don't name anybody, like mmoga, just try to think objective:
- A company buys codes from Mojang
- Mojang refunds purchaches without any trouble, if they are requested to do so (by bank, paymant partners or buyers)
- So the nameless company re-sells the codes
- Some time later, they stop selling codes and request Mojang to refund all the purchases
- The company gets the money back, the codes get cancelled
To me it sounds like a serious fraud and business modell.
So there are lots of people affected, one issue, serious cheating, something should be done about it.

I actually buy my code from mojang, not other company or something, i still can play the game, but cant change my skin.
My accout had been refunded. But my nickname still have skin. Now I want to buy another gift code to active my accout but can I use old nickname or have to create another nickname? If I have to create another nickname, will Mojang help me to change my old nickname back?
I think even if they could, you will need kind of an evidence that it is you, who wants to change your name to an existing one (yours). Try it, getting no answer/help is the worst to happen.
I got this email from MMOGA today.
Sry it is only in German.
"hallo,
Mojang exploit his position as monopolist.
Oh, of course they could do something, like refunding the money the users paid. But then they'd need a new business modell, what a pity.
I bought Minecraft about 3 months ago and got the premium "reversed upon request", same as everyone here.
I contacted the company that sold it to me, and the attendant told me that this is a global issue, and only in Brazil the number of affected people is something about 2 thousands.
He told me too that the company that they bought the keys of didn't requested the refunds, and that no money were refunded yet, so they are trying to discover the origin of the problem.
Since many of Mojang's accounts have had the same problem, I guess that this is not some company's fraud; It seems more like some hacker's attack or major bug.
I hope that Mojang can find out the cause and solve the problem as soon as possible, or some class action lawsuits may happen.
I got the same problem,
I buy the game months ago and today entry in my count and see that I can play only the demo and i get a mail from Mojang. (sorry for my bad english i'm from Chile)
Please do not post on this thread asking that Mojang attempt to deal with the issue of reselling. Mojang cannot stop people from reselling their Minecraft accounts, this is why they tell you to only purchase Minecraft from minecraft.net.
Thank you

If you are having minecraft problems, make sure to check out the help site.
A: Why does the players who have Minecraft for months for now are all having this issue since scammers usually don't wait that long for "profit" and,
B: Why does many of these are players who bought their Minecraft directly from Mojang's site?
Mojang could stop the scam problem if they begin to ask via e-mail to the account's users a proof that they bought that account, and stop to refund thirds.
Both you and I know that they don't do it just because it's very easier just close their eyes for this problem.

i buy it from minecraft.net before 4 months i think through paypal....
Hello,
Sorry, owing to the game itself, there’s same problem all over the market, which we do not expect. So we’ve refunded you the money. Please check
We appreciate your understanding!
The money was refunded, so contacting the supplier may help a little, at least you may get back your money.
I had the best factions account ever. I paid well over $100 for the best kits in the server. Then suddenly my account gets revoked. Some of you may not know but it's really ing all of us off. Grumm, if you read this, I do not want to pay for a new minecraft account and I still have my transaction ID so I have proof I have paid for the account. I do not want the $100 to go to waste and some of the mods here might tell me to go to mojang.com and get support from there but I've messaged them 3 times now with all the details but the bot keeps giving me the same message.
Additional Info:
- I got my minecraft account from the original website: minecraft.net so that means I did not purchase it from a reseller.
- I used paypal ( I don't know if this is even useful ).
- I have had this account ever since 1.4. I did not have any problems until now.
- I still have my transaction ID.

Edit: By the way, Mojang gave an official statement about 2 Years ago, which said, they do not support any codes, purchased from re-sellers.
https://mojang.com/2...waga-attention/
And another statement, 2 days ago, which says, re-selling "violates our terms of service".

So companies like mmoga knew this from the beginning and hypocritical excuses to me appear as shameless lies. But we wanted to be objective so...

I hope the situation will be cleared up soon and I truely hope I'am on the wrong track by scenting fraud.
Thank you for adding another perspective to the subject, FabioPanzarin.
You are welcome.
I just want my premium back, like everyone else.
