I'm currently running a server network (That is to say, a series of servers connected via bungeecord) and I'm having a bit of a dilema when it comes to voting.
On sites such as Planet minecraft and Minecraft server list, we obviously have a single post for the entire network, because the network shares a single IP and bungeecord automatically figures out where you were when you disconnected etc.
The issue at hand is that, with only having a single post for the server, we can only vote once for the entire network, per user, per site, per 24 hours.
However we have voting rewards on multiple servers. On factions & skyblock you earn ingame money to purchase items, on creative to purchase perms. etc.
I've tried setting up votifier on all servers to listen to the same port/ip and copy across the same public rsa key from one server to the others, in the hope of having 1 vote count on all the servers, but it didn't work.
How can I get around this? Is there a way to have multiple votifiers on different servers registering the same vote?
I am not entirely sure. Possibly having each of those servers having the same votifier folder + plugin. If that does not work, I suggest hiring a professional plugin developer to make a plugin as such. I would think to have one in your bungeecord plugins folder would be the best option, but I am only a basic plugin developer. Go to http://www.bukkit.org and ask on the forums there. You might get a better answer than this.
Its not broken, works perfectly for me.. You must have a plugin conflict or an old spigot/bukkit.
Well considering the comments are filled with people reporting the same error, and when I try to run it it simply doesn't start up, I'm pretty sure it's broken.
Well as I said, my issue is the plugin is completely ignored by my servers startup, nothing in logs, no ingame commands, no config generated, nothing.
out of curiosity, did you put votesend in your bungee server plugin folder or into your hub server plugin plugins because it belongs in the bungee server plugin directory

Oh.. it does? They weren't at all specific on the bukkit dev page (Simply said "Put the .jar in your plugins folder")
I'll try running it on the bungee server and see if it works. Thanks.
I was just going off of assumption because in the plugin description, it says "breaking them down and resending them to a configurable list of servers." Which would make the most sense to be in the bungee plugins because it has the ability to send the data across the minecraft servers.
I never used this but at least this is what i got out of reading the website.
[EDIT] This is what the developer said in the comments section, "You can use this on your hub... use Votifier and this on the hub server, and then Votifier and a listener on each other server."
Nope, doesn't go in your Bungee server plugins. I think Miner made a mistake.
After looking at the Vote Send bukkit dev page a bit more, I noticed this:
Vote Send is over a year old, and not up to date. I don't see how you could possibly be using it on the latest version of spigot, unless they have a more up to date version of the plugin elsewhere.

I looked into this plugin but sadly it's completely broken.
Does anybody else know of another plugin similar to this?

I'm running the latest spigot

Yeah, nothing from bukkitdev will go in your Bungee plugins :P.
He said it goes into your bungee server's plugins, you just said it doesn't...

Does anybody know of a replacement?
