I am setting up a server for me and some buds to play on with a bunch of mods. Below is the console output of the "ls" command showing what mods are installed on client and server since some mods are client side only.

Its probably just a bad idea to be using that many mods at the same time. You're making yourself very vulnerable to plugin/mod conflicts... I would recommend just trying out a ModPack such as Feed The Beast that have a lot of mods and have made them compatible.

Ammarpw made a good point. Mods are not meant to be run with other mods, and when you combine server-side plugins with client-side mods, and you have a lot of them, it's very easy to run into conflicts and can be difficult to fix.
I would remove mods and try a basic server, make sure you can get that working first. If your friends can connect, no problem, re-add one mod/plugin at a time until you find the error again. Then you can resolve the conflict or ditch that mod.
