Hello I have hosted a few Minecraft servers, vanila, tekkit lite, and now I am trying to run a tekkit Space server. However I am getting a ID mismatch error and I can not fix it. I have tried replacing the configs, mods, and coremods folders with the ones I have on my working client and nothing seems to work.
I'm having the exact same problem. Nothing works for this stupid server. About to abandon it altogehter, no wonder people said it wasn't stable.
I have copied all the exact configs from the server to the client. I have deleted files that didn't show up in the server that was in the client. No matter what I do, the stupid thing throws up thos exact three missmatched IDs.
Sorry to necro an old post, but this is exactly my problem, and there is no solution. About to give up and just go back to bukkit, at least that works.
Some mods overwrite the vanilla minecraft blockids. Those mods do this when you start your client, even before you connect to the server. The server then checks your IDs, and sees you have a conflict, but its with a mod that the server does not have.
The Normal blockid conflict message comes up when the server and the client both have the same mod or same mods and there is more than one mod trying to use a blockid, or the mods on the client are configured to use a different set of blockids than the server.
In this case, though, your client has a mod that the server does not have -- and this mod has overwritten a vanilla minecraft blockid. So the error is saying that your client is disagreing with the server about a vanilla minecraft blockid that has been overwritten by a client mod the server does not have.
The solution is to remove that 'extra' mod from your client. Coping over the server configs will not help you, because the mod is not on the server -- the servers config files do not apply to the mod that is causing the error.
I do what I solved the problem, when I have time I will make a video
I know a solution, its because the IDS are stored in the world. The config files have nothing to do with it. You just need to delete the world and create a new one.

Some mods might have dynamic IDs which will change for every client and server. This would only occur on A MCPC+ server because it allows you to use mods that aren't meant for servers.

How do I fix that because I think that's the problem i'm having
I to am having this problem, unable to use the program suggested does not work with 1.6.4. I have done all of the above aside of using the program suggested.
Someone said it is in the world files if so how deleting world and remake fix it, will just recreate the id again and still be different from client to server? I am not great at these things, but have had private server since minecraft was out. This the first I have ran into this Id conflict from client to server, and is this one annoying! Hope someone figures it out. I know I am trying.

Thank you in advance!
there is no better solution?
C:\Users\@@@@\AppData\Roaming\.technic\tekkitmain\
and replaced it with the configs folder from the server and it still didn't work??

I did not try what Crazy_Mind suggested as I had already reinstalled
...So you're saying you have to do a total wipe to get tekkit to work? Well screw that.
