I have one simple question. Is there a mod that allows plugins on a vanilla server? And before anyone says "Just use a bukkit server." Or anything like that, I wanted it for computers that don't have Java installed like lets say a school computer because I can't install Java on those and bukkit needs Java to run but Minecraft Vanilla doesn't.
Why would you run a server off a laggy-ass school computer?
Laggy? Wow the computers at our school is epic. And plus its so any one else playing cant join. Their RAM and stuff is epic but their security is really crappy

Still, if you run it off a school computer anyone could log onto console. Run it off a private computer. And there is no way to have plugins with bukkit.

None of those guys are smart enough to even get on minecraft by themselves (Fail)

Say wha? Sorry to burst your bubble, but the Vanilla server requires Java. The server client is just an extracted portion of the client (when you play single player, your still playing on a server, you just don't know it). It's ALL Java.
Dude you think I'm stupid? Try it yourself. Uninstall all your Java and try running minecraft and a vanilla server (No mods!) It works iv'e done it. It isn't always the best but it works
Than how was it I did it? The once iv'e seen that error was on a school computer with my friend. ONCE! It was just that computer we can play it all other times and yes I checked their programs they don't have Java. (I also did a few other things too )
Are you sure they didn't have Java? Computers administrators have ways of hiding things from you. I'm not trying to pull a fast one on you, the program is written entirely in Java. Java is designed to be universally portable between any operating system but it needs the runtime to do that.
Can I ask, are you running the client on the same computers? Because the client requires Java too, even if you play it in a web browswer.

Just start a singleplayer game and turn on LAN in the Esc menu, it should allow your buddies to connect to you.
Sorry I didn't state this before but I don't want anyone but my friends to join that's why I'm using a server.
Edit: I could just shutdown their computer every time they join (sarcasm)
His method would only allow people on the local LAN to connect. Maybe if somebody in the school saw it, but they would have to discover it, and we all know Minecrafts "LAN Discovery" option sucks. So they really would have to know the IP Address.

Unless there are other people playing Minecraft in your school, there shouldn't be anyone else joining. And /ban works in LAN worlds for anyone who does join uninvited.

Oh, I thought there would be because with tekkit lite there is a mod for that so I just figured, oh well sorry to waste peoples time.
It's fine! It was a reasonable question.

because I cant portforward my internet so I use it to basicly make a private lan server
I don't know why I am doing or saying this but I use a USB.

Where you are running it from doesn't make any difference.
