A little while ago, my minecraft crashed when I loaded modloader and TMI together, and the next time I logged in it said:
"Can't connect to minecraft.net." and then in that little corner it said:
"Try again?"
(play offline?) Minecraft not downloaded.
I checked and my bin, etc were there, so I deleted, re-entered minecraft and the thing happened. From there I checked on the internet and I got on. Then I went on Mums computer and I got on with the downloaded version. Tried again on my computer and it said:
"Can't connect to minecraft.net."
"Try again?"
(play offline?) Minecraft not downloaded.
Now whenever I try to get on I can only do it on my Mums' computer or on the internet one (Which I hate cos I can only load it some times).
Well, you guys are my only hope left, then I will be left with no solution.
First of all, I have bought Minecraft, I'm not a poor.
Ok, there we go : I can't launch Minecraft anymore. I tried everything I can do now. I even reinstalled Java.
Many days have passed, and then I downloaded McPatcher, for try it out.
I clicked "Test Minecraft". Guess what ? The game launched. I screamed the **** out of me.
When I logged on a server, I was... Player754. The name change everytime I restart Minecraft. It's not liveable anymore. And I'm stuck with a Mexican Skin. But I don't get the choice.
Two weeks have passed. I deleted my "minecraft" folder. (I'm a Mac user, brother.) If somebody warned me about what did I done, I would have never done this. When I launched MCPatcher to play, I got an error that said that "minecraft" was not found. Well, In fact, there where only "bin" and "lastlogin". So, I can't play anymore. Can somebody help me ? *pray*
ok so i recently got a new mac and went to play mine craft (i updated java and everything and i thought i was good to go until...
the evil "do you want to run this program" window popped up, so i clicked always trust this publisher and the cancel button was glowing blue but the run button wasn't. so, i clicked run and the same window popped up, so i clicked run again, then the window popped up again and so-on until i finally thought i got to the game, the game turned into a blank white screen and it seems to want me to click cancel but i really want to play mine craft that i payed a lot of money for (I'm 12 years old, its a lot to me)
so please help my mom is really pissed off at me because she thinks mine craft is just a hassle and i want to prove her wrong. please help as soon as possible.
All I can say is that I have 32-bit java installed and my JavaVirtualMachine folder does not exist. It did before minecraft 1.0.0 !?
Oh shut up. I'm typing to you on a MBP. I think they are good computers, if you think they're too pricey then don't ***** about it. If you can't afford one then don't buy one. Don't try to shove your opinion down others throats.
On topic:
Are you using a PowerPC mac? Because a lot of stuff isn't supported on them.
Okay, I'm no expert but a PowerPC macs don't support much anymore, something to do with an x86 architecture or something. Best advice I can give you is to find a forum that isn't Minecraft forum. Like www.macrumours.com
Because all your going to get here is "Herpderp he bought Mac lolololololololoololol HEROBRIN IZ REALZ"
I'll take you advice, but I'll continue here. Just for the sake of showing Mojang how many of us still support.

No, you are not, you just have to learn how to install it and use it on a Mac..
Also, please don't troll on this thread, or make threads that are trolling, for that matter. If you make a serious thread asking for help, more people would be willing to look at your problem and provide a solution (and take it seriously). Also, try searching the forums or online before posting for a specific problem, because there are multiple guides on minecraftforum.net as well as online- Google, YouTube, etc- on how to run Minecraft on Macs. For example, this site has one group of fixes: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/57538-mac-guide-106-how-to-make-minecraftapp-use-64bit-java/
These are 4 different problems- with fourdifferent answers, but I will try to answer them all in order:
@Fallz:
ERROR: The Mac version of the Minecraft.jar does not recognize the provided Java Application Stub properly.
FIX:
1) Make sure your Mac is updated to the latest version of Java (just use Software Update, Macs use their own version of Java and Java 7 64-bit isn't fully out for Mac yet
2) In Finder, go to and copy /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/A/Resources/MacOS/JavaApplicationStub
3) Paste and replace your Minecraft app's faulty JavaApplicationStub with the one from Java (right click on your Minecraft.app, click "Show Package Contents”, go to
Contents/MacOS/)
@Me/L_l_loggingin: Are you using Windows to run Minecraft? Because the "Play offline" option is not available on the current version of Minecraft.jar for Macs. Please post your error to a Windows thread. It sounds like you are having a connection issue rather than an issue with the mods you are using that is causing the problem. Provide more detail on what the error is so we know what you are describing.

Okay...what is the error you are describing? Just saying "there we go it doesnt work help me" doesn't help anyone to know what your problem is....
It appears you have multiple errors you are reporting here, but for your last one- simply run Minecraft.jar from its application file (Minecraft app) and it should re-install your minecraft folder automatically (without any of your mods/savegames/textures, etc) and THEN re-install your mods using MCPatcher, patch- and finally you should then be able to run the game from your Minecraft app.
You don't need to "run" the game in Test mode from MCPatcher for it to run with the installed mods after you have patched your minecraft.jar with MCPatcher.
@Gamezmastah:
I don't understand what you are describing. Please re-state your error more clearly.
