For a couple of weeks now my minecraft has been having extreme lag spikes that last for about 30 seconds or so, getting down to 1fps. it is getting really annoying and is making me sick of the game. League of Legends and Terraria run fine on my computer. My computer is a MacBook running Snow Leopard. i tried Optifine but doesnt seem to work, only a very little amount. Please help
If it starts lagging again you should change your Video Settings to this:
Graphics: Fast
Smooth lighting: OFF
3danaglyph: OFF
GUI Scale: auto
Render distance: start with normal. Move down if lag continues.
Performence: MAX FPS / BALANCED
View bobbing: does not matter
Advanced openGL: OFF
