Hello, am new to write about minecraft videos, I wonder how I can do time lapse videos where the style is far from a camera filming my actions, it is possible off-line alone, or necessarily have to be online with two accounts, stop being a filming and another doing the construction, there is a mod that it is a static camera somewhere to record pre-defined or I have to have two accounts and two minecraft?
Unfortunately you'll have to record it individually by yourself or a friend. To 'time lapse' it you'll need to edit its speed. Depending on your editing software. Sorry, but no way to be done!

If I remember correctly there is a mod that allows you to place a camera and that camera will record whatever it is looking at into a actual video file. I saw it forever ago and don't remember what it is called. I remember you have to set the zoom angle and XYZ Coordinates of the camera from GUI.

1. Hello, didn't know you used the forums ;D
2. Yeah, I would imagine there is a mod like that still continued.
Also, if you have an alt. account, you could record it on a different computer (if you have the resources) and build on another. Settings won't matter since your framerate will increase when you speed it up.
I think this is something like what you're looking for: Multishot Timelapse Mod
Reschs, the maker of the mod, is planning to add an external camera so you can use it in single player easier.
Hope this helps! :biggrin.gif:

well... you have too have a server, 2 minecraft accounts, (or have a friend go AFK for a few hrs... and have him send you the footage) and then edit/render/upload it! and then you are all set! good luck.
There are 2 simple(ish) ways to make a time lapse.
1. Fast Forward: All you have to do for this is have a friend stand still in a certain location and film you building something. Next you use a video editing software to fast forward the video (usually by at least x5, the speed depends on the duration of the video and size of the build, you should try different speeds until you find the one you like).
2. Stop Motion style: This style is a little more demanding, but does not require the use of multi-player or a friend filming you. What you have to do is take a screenshot of your creation after every few blocks/every block you place. Make sure you take the screenshots from the same spot. Then, take all the screenshots you took and import them to a video editor software (in the order from first to last one take). Next you must set the screenshots to play in rapid succesion (.5 seconds or less for each picture) to create the stop motion video of your build.
