If you know how to do it, could you make a tutorial explaining how to make an NEI addon or make your mod compatible with NEI?I can not seem to find a tutorial anywhere, nor a way to do it.
NEI - Not enough Items.. its a mod. Do a search and you'll find it. It's one of the more popular mods around. Lot's of modders interface their stuff into it.
On another note, I too would like a video on how to interface my items into it. That would be sweet.

Ask the NEI devs maybe there exists some documentation you can use?
If not you should request such from them

as i said in that smelting vid, u can't do that since the input code of the smelting won't do "new ItemStack(BlockTut)". If it did this, then you can put the amount next to the block tut like this - "new ItemStack(BlockTut, 12)".
So you'd have to have 12 or more to get something... But you can't do it that way...
There might be a way to get around this, but i haven't seen anything about it...
i dont have an assets folder in my minecraft folder. like im inside mcp - src - minecraft and all i see is just my mod package and if i go in there i have my mod contents like my mod name folder and if i just go in that its just a class file iv been working on... i have not yet found a tutorial that directs me to the proper item texture folder...

actually sorry! i was just trying to figure out the item texture thing for a while now so iv been just paying attention to item tutorials and i noticed that my code was really messy, missing the proxies and eventhandlers so i ended up starting anew from scratch so that i can get everything sorted out. I did eventually find out how to do it, i just had to uncap my modid folder, i just checked the console and just tested it and it worked! im glad and thanks for everything! great tutorials btw, but its too fast for my taste gl~
NEI? I'm not sure what that is...
