Well, at least they managed to play through most of Monarch of Madness legitimately. Antvenom and Cavemanfilms pretty much broke the map! Seriously, how did they get across the Bridge of the Strongest without blowing it up?!
Then again, it was pretty funny to see them completely destroy the Twilight Steeple...
Well, at least Simon and Lewis got the message you left for them!
Yep, surprisingly enough, they seemed far more pleased by Monarch of Madness, even though it had a ton more text and it actually had parkour. Maybe they just don't have as much patience as they did a year and a half ago. Maybe Ant and Cave would prefer Mystery of the Pumpkin Castle because it's shorter, has no parkour and actual mobfighting, hehe. Dunno how I'd tell them about the map, though.
This looks amazing, Expect me to do a playthrough of each one as it comes out!
Haha, glad you like the looks of it, but there have been little changes I may have to incorporate into the main post. In the end, only two new maps are planned - which will let me make both of them a lot better than I would've if I went for the whole ten maps thing.
Sorry that I haven't looked at this thread in a while. (Little bro broke my computer, just got a new one!)
Since 1 of the maps are out, would you recommend that i play it now or wait?
I intend to, at one point or another, play all the maps.
Edit: Just looked at the post before mine. Even if there's going to only be two maps, my question is still relevant.

Three maps, actually. But yes, Mystery of the Pumpkin Castle is good to play, certainly, although it does use a resource pack so if you don't know how those work by any chance, you should look up a little tutorial, haha.
I'm working on the next map right now, finally extracting it from the main file and making it its own little world.

You think i don't know how to install a resource pack?
I'm sorry but I'm sort of confused on how this is working. So there's Monarch of Madness and the next map is connected to it, and Mystery of the Pumpkin Castle was its own project? And the rest of the maps you make will all be combined into one mapmaker project map?

Yeah, I get your confusion - I was confused myself for a while! Let's just explain what this project was going to be, and what it's actually gonna be.
It was going to be a huge map, with around ten normal-sized maps within it, lasting above 10 hours total, easily.
It is now gonna be a map on its own, but two of the maps that were meant to be among the ten within are actually their own things now, Mystery of the Pumpkin Castle and Prince of Paranoia - the latter of which is currently being made. "The Mapmaker" is still gonna be a map after Prince of Paranoia, but most of the beginning is already complete. I'll just have to actually do something new inside later, when I work on it.
So instead of one huge map, you'll be getting a total of three maps out of this project, although Pumpkin Castle was the first of these three things. Makes a bit more sense, I hope.
Kinda sucks that it can't be all 1 map, but I completely understand why u can't make like that. Still can't wait for the next map!
Haha, yeah, I understand your point. I would have loved for it to be one huge compilation, but in retrospect, it would just have added tons of complications. I'll try to work some more on the next map next weekend, because I'm ill right now and can't seem to come up with anything creative at the moment.
Well I'm glad your feeling better (I'm assuming) Also, are the pictures in your signature, banner, whatever, are they each a different map that you have already started? I noticed that one of them is from your previous map
Well for one this isn't the place to post about it. You should post it on the forum for the map( http://www.minecraft.../#entry23148627 ). Two have you tried any of the mirror links or using a different browser? if you have ad block try turning it off as that might be the problem.

I plan on making a video series on this map. Unfortunately, my mic is broken, I'll make more videos as soon as I get a new one!
As much as this is appreciated, don't worry too much about it right now The project became a bit smaller over time, and will take quite a bit longer than expected. You can put the blame on university being more complicated than anticipated, unfortunately.

Still, the two maps will last a good time~

It's not as long of a ride, but it's a fun ride for what it is.
You think i don't know how to install a resource pack?
You misunderstand 1 map...
You said your computer broke, so I assumed it might have been broken while resource packs came out! I'm quite optimistic.
And no, I did not misunderstand. Mystery of the Pumpkin Castle, Prince of Paranoia and The Mapmaker all count for this project, so three maps it is~
