Wow amazing, loved the map you made before (Monarch of Madness, lot of Paper Mario references ), and I think this will be a huge success! It even inspired me to finish my Assassin's Creed custom map that I've been working on it almost a year, but first I must pass some exams I failed (They are called "second opportunity exams" here in my country >.> ). Anyway, good luck on your map and best wishes for this 2013!
It did, but I think their playthrough was the first one to fully showcase it, so it was still the very first version of the Steeple. Lots of differences at that point!

I hope you'll smash those exams into pieces! (Not literally, though - bad idea if you want to pass )
An update about the lack of updates, yes. I would have wanted more updates throughout January, but alas, it has been a very heavy month with both studying, exams, and illness. (Yes, I've been ill for four days now, which means I had to be separated from the rest of my classes during my exams. I do prefer it that way, but I could have done without the coughing, sneezing and head-thumping.)
So, what was added to the project this month? Well, aside from the little optional Mansion area being completed, and a bit of pixel art using a few programs... Not all that much, I'm afraid. At least, February should be far more open, seeing how I'll be getting three classes I'm rather familiar with! More time for mapmaking, me thinks.
Yes, I promised updates, and I deliver! Here are a few new screenshots with the new texture pack I'll be using while working on the map (SMP's Revival), even though most of these showcase areas you've already seen:
I wish I could show more of the map, but as it is, it'd probably reveal a bit too much! Share your thoughts, predictions and analyses as much as you'd like!

And it plays good, too! When it'll be done, though, bug-testing will be one heck of a task. I didn't think that through very well at the beginning, but seeing how it covers a very large distance, I think I'll have to create a few "out of the game boundaries" teleporters to keep up with everything!
Indeed, this one shows a lot of progress, thanks to Revolvee's work and a few hours on my end so far. I think it looks rather good right now, but it'll still take at least 100 hours or so of work to be complete!
Is it just me? I can't view the new screen shots you added throughout February.
Nope, it's a problem on my end. My photobucket account's not premium anymore, so the bandwidth my images use is too much for them to be displayed. I'll be moving them over to imgur tonight, and I'll go on from there. I hope it'll work!
EDIT: Done! The screenshots have been moved over, and I've added a new one:
...How about watching my playthrough?
To be fair, you DID play a newer version

Thanks a lot for the comment!

Very, very cool!
Thanks! I'll be sure to make it as cool as possible by the time it's done, mark my words!
I decided that it was time to release the map's first teaser trailer! Watch it right here:
This reveals a portion of the map in full action, as well as the map's true name, The Mapmaker.
What does this mean? Well, first and foremost, it means that the project is going well, and that work is constantly being done.
However, it also means that there will be more trailers as time goes along! Hopefully, you'll all enjoy these as much as I did making them!
(That doesn't mean there's more than one already done, but I'm already excited to make more. The final trailer will be much grander, however.)
And I'm looking forward to your review of it! If I can get higher than a seventeen on this one, I'll be satisfied! I'm always aiming for improvement.
last post, this looks more epic. Nice job forgotten
It has been a few months, so of course, progress was made! Thanks!
