I have just finished recording the final episode of my first let's play ever, Spellbound Caves! Its been a great journey since last November, and i've loved every second! I'm so happy to have come this far as a player, a map maker, and a youtuber, and i look forward to many more let's plays and ctm maps to come! I will be starting my let's play of Dreadsky Isle two weeks after the finale video is released
also fyi, the video coming out tomorrow IS NOT the finale episode. The finale is next week.

Yay! Congrats dude, can't wait for you to start DsI.
You can actually do stuff like that just with TMI. Dragging an enchanted book to the enchant tab and adding the enchants you want works just fine. I've actually done something similar, where I take two opposing enchants, (say Fortune III and Sharpness III) and put them on the same book, so people have to choose which one they want to use.
Thanks for changing the font, I would really not be able to read the whole post without it.
Multi-use enchanted books are good idea and it has been used before, still good thing.
That's a pretty good idea and a nice convenience item.
I did something similar in ED3 with 'multipurpose enchanting books' to allow people to choose between several enchantments when they anvil.
Thanks for the support guys!
@Drago: I also recently learned you can do that through TMI. So I guess it could have been made quicker, but hell to it. I like the enchantments ordered my way, not the TMI way.
@Kacper: I know they've been used before, but I thought I'd do my own little thing. I mean, look at Amlup. He's used it before. And the fact that it was only very recently that I realised that you could do that, I'd thought I'd put my own little twist on it.
@Orange: That sounds pretty cool.
So I thought I'd give my hand at a Dragonian-Style Showcase... I present:

NOTE: Enchantments on books may be subject to change as time goes on.
Cool but IMO thorns is an annoying and almost useless enchant than makes your gear break so fast. (Quote from the wiki) "Armor with the Thorns enchantment automatically loses another point of durability, and two more (for a total of four) if it reflects damage to the attacker." So twice as fast if you never reflect damage and 4 times as fast if you reflect it every time while on something like diamond or even iron it is alright but if you use anything else this sucks. I remember in IM when I had a diamond helmet with thorns 3 and unbreaking 3 and it broke so fast and this was only in Everforge not the other crazy areas.

Thing is, I'm not "absolutely crazy" when it comes to mobs like Vechs in Inferno Mines, and so it shouldn't do that bad. I still think it's a good idea, just for the fact that it follows the trend of "Primary enchantment + Secondary Enchantment + Unbreaking." I do respect your opinion, but it will stick around on the armor books. It's your choice to use it or not.
So, because of that statement, I will probably change up the Bow book.
That's a great idea! By the way, what texture/resource pack is that?
That was a combination of Faithful 32x32, and Three_Two's GUI, and Water.
I managed to port most of his GUI from that texture pack into my 1.6 custom resource pack(s), which right now consist of a 16x resource pack with Default, with a touch of Wayuki, Three_Two, and Faithful.

Looking for a CTM map, you say? Just click on the banner and look no further!
I'm definitely adding this to my map, hope this kind of thing is adopted.
I'm thinking about that, where you can manipulate how many hearts they have, or the attributes, so it could be manipulated so that the zombies and the mobs you face early on are weaker than the normal mobs, and you scale as you get better and better gear.
I think that's what I'm going to do. Reduce the hearts of the mobs so that they are weaker at the beginning, but still pose a challenge, and scale health as time goes on.
Hello everyone. Good to see the CTM Community is mostly alive (I saw some zombies lurkin' around here) and well in this thread! Looks like the CTM Shop has gone through a few more iterations since I left 10 months ago.

I know who you are Com. I've been watching you.
Welcome back, Delthyn. Enjoy your stay here in the latest iteration!
So, I am a rather... "new and basic" mapmaker. I have tried making CTM maps before with a new genre, but I gave up eventually. However, I recently started up again on a new map that is turning out much better then my first few. However, MCEdit has began giving me... issues. A lot of them. The most notable is it freezing, crashing, or taking forever when loading any map. Another common one is Sethbling's Item Lore Filter acting strange. The text boxes will create infinite streams of words I write before MCEdit crashes, the letters will be in a different order then I typed them, etc. Has anyone else had these problems and/or know what I can do?

"Minecraftia, a world of peace yet danger, a world of light yet darkness, a world of good yet evil. Every good thing you see has it's evil counterpart, evenly matching the power of the two. I intend, however, to simplify things down to one part, which just happens to be evil."- The Infector

I don't have problems with mcedit. If it's ever unusable I recommend using worldedit.

Hooray! Welcome back!
I heard! Welcome back!
(although I joined just as he left so he most likely has no idea who I am :P)
Ah, thanks.
Fun fact: I joined the forums the exact same day as com.
He's a member of the CTM community who had to leave (for some reason), and has been gone a long time, but now it seems he's back!
Welcome back delthyn!!!!!
Spawns slightly varied zombies.
