I've been recently planning the second installment to my 'Mini Adventures' series in my thread. I'm doing this to make up for the inactivity on my thread that has been going for quite some time now (Though I'm still working on Legends of Argonia), so here's something to get you excited. The basic plans I've got so far are:
- Siege, a difficult 3 wool CTM
- Choose a class to play as!
- This gives you a starting kit and then you are free to do as you please!
- I'm planning straight on action from the start, but resource gathering (such as potion materials, wood etc) is mixed in also.
I've showcased one of the 4 classes available below though poorly made, the Ember Knight!
Edit: I have noticed that error with the leggings screenshot, but I'm too lazy to fix it. Boohoo.
@community question, UT III at the moment. I'm at the white wool area, stuck for a few days now. Don't know where to find the fleecy box (no spoilers please)...
Have you found Intersection 1 yet? If so, the white wool is in Intersection 1, ofcourse, after that when your inside the white wool area, AMLUP says "I'm -rooting- for you" somewhere on a sign he placed. Key word is highlighted. Hope that helps... :l
What CTM map (including minimaps) are you currently playing, how far through it are you, and how are you finding it so far?
Uncharted Territory 3 (Amlup). I don't have a whole lot of time for CTM maps so they typically end up taking me a few months to complete. Excellent map so far.
May I question how you made those top-down 1 block wide spires.
you mean the hanging mossycobble? i just used the craftscripts frag brush to make the roof uneven, then i used cs vine 6 8 14 87 (aka size 6 brush, 8% density, 14 maximum length, netherrack for the mat) and placed them around where i wanted them. Then i used a normal brush to change the netherrack to cobble and mossycobble.
So I might Change my name To "FrostyNightmare" because ive been meaning to change from this "Link" name for a while and I wanted you guys to know so you wouldnt be confused as to who i am
This is a picture of an older area in Remote District II, - Any ideas how to make it, as I like to say, less crusty/dry? (Bland and boring) :x
Basically take the entire top half of the walls and move them back alot creating like a ringed plateau and add trees and vegetation to the entire thing as well as adding cracks and crevices just plain block variation doesn't looks as good as a creative type of wall
Well I remember not liking this tread but someone on vechs thread mentioned that the people here were awesome so I came back it see if I was wrong. Also I don't want to completely quit all threads but I feel there is no reason to be on vechs thread any more seeing as he is not currently even making maps. Also I like the Volcano I agree with what they are saying The walls could be changed but if you do that mobs could possibly spawn there so you might want to light up there if you do change it.
And can someone here give me some tips on how to make the outside of my tower better it is made out of stone bricks and I got unlimited glowstone.
the tower will go strait into the ceiling that is why the random 1 by 1 pillar is on top.

make the walls 2-thick and add indentions on the flat sides. I'd suggest adding some cobble fences in said indentions, then putting fences in the corners of the curves. Experiment with adding some netherbrick or planks as highlights as well (make the fences netherbrick fences if you go with netherbrick highlights)

Well at the moment I don't have any nether brick. or nether stuff yet.

So are the classes going to get unique things as the game progresses or will it just be a starting kit? IE: A class can only trade for an item of its own class or one available for any class.

EDIT: Name has been changed, dang the next week or so will be REAL confusing to some as to who i am. Maybe.

um...this is for a map you're making isn't it? if it is, then what are you making it with? o_O
eh huh?
creative mode while mapmaking is a must i guess... maybe not?
That's not for a map he's making. It's for one that he's playing.
Take note of the cavern in which he's building the tower. (It's the monument area from UT3.)

*facepalm*
in that case, it doesn't really matter how he decorates it, its only for him.
