I need some NBT help here-working on a pair of boots that make you faster, but with less health. I got it working, but it's decided to stop now. Can somebody point out to me why it fails to function properly? (important stuff in spoiler)

To ad attributes I used Sethbling's attribute filter, I find it much easier to work with than NBT editing software/mods.

maxhealth 20 = normal?
What's going wrong, you're UUID's arent unique. Make them a random number, like 3819789782. Every UUID has to be different (Universally Unique Identifier iirc)

Thanks for that, it's working perfectly now. The 20 was an incredible loss of thought, that's all.

Change up the UUIDs. It needs to be different for every modifier.
Edit: Damn ninjas

I find that Sethbling's filters provide nifty GUIs in exchange for efficiency and customizability.
(And that you have to leave the game every time you want to change something in 0.2FPS MCEdit)

You run MCEdit at 0.2 FPS? O-o I run it at 29 FPS. I feel so bad for you (I think 0.2 might be an exaggeration, though I don't know)
Sounds like its time to do some work on getting your pc faster.

My problem with running sethbling's filters for things like this (I know the post wasn't directed to me, but I feel like it kind of is, even though it isn't. I promise my brain works.) is not that MCEdit's a slow program, as my computer's fine at that (fancy gaming rig I built last month, if it ran badly, I'd be panicking right now), but that I:
A:Must open a new program and quit minecraft. And then rinse and repeat
B:This is just a thing I care about, but I feel like I'm more productive when I have a better understanding of how the game mechanics work. Maybe that's just because I do a lot of coding for fun, and so it's just a habit, but that's just a preference of mine.

Yeah....not everyone is fortunate enough to just upgrade your computer whenever you want. :/
Maybe you are, but not me.
What map are you most looking forward to? (Still in development)
Titans revolt by Project CTM , Disarray by Skeeto and the new style of CTM that Vechs hinted at in his latest IM video that will probably crash and burn.
What map are you most looking forward to? (Still in development)
Amidst the World (if it's ever coming out) by Unstorpable, Dreadsky Depths by Drago, Syncquential by Xekaj, and The Arcane Airs by colorfusion (although this one won't be for a while).
And also, if Zisteau's Globule III turns out to be CTM-style, then that too. Although I'll play it either way.
Edit: I almost forgot my #1 most looked forward to one, the second map in the Ragecraft series.

The Painter has to be my #1 looked-forward-to map. UT3 was for a while, but that's out now, so yeah. Also looking forward to Disarray and Solitude (Skeeto and Torien's maps), Speluncaphobia and Deluge by Apollo, and Septum Immoriel.
Seriously though, it is nice to see enthusiasm for my upcoming projects. Reminds me that there are people out there who will play what you make, and just because you haven't updated your map for ages doesn't mean you've lost your audience.

Oh stop it you.
And about losing your audience, I'm the kind of person who will follow and check on threads I like even months after the previous map in the series was posted. Threads like yours, Ragecraft, and The Four Cores (which had a map release less than a week ago, but before that is was months) I still check very frequently, almost daily.
And also, BANDCAMP! (Translation: I'm gone until Saturday. See ya!)
What map are you most looking forward to? (Still in development)
-Titan's Revolt
-Syncquential
-TGP2
-Rock's map (don't remember the name :/)
-The Painter
-Dreadsky Depths
-Disarray
- Legend of the Lost Lagoon
-ED4
-Septum Immoriel (no way did I spell that correctly...) (well... Maybe)
Community Question: What type of music do you listen to while map making? I like to listen to 80's Rock, Electronic or Inspiration music But i would like some suggestions from you all so i can widen my music Variety

Go away with your Comic Sans. Nobody loves it.
I listen to game soundtracks while mapmaking. Mario, Portal 2, and Super Meat Boy are in my playlists.

Edit: Wait no-one said they are excited for my map that hasn't been officially announced and has been barely started and like 2 people know of it? I am disappoint! (that was a joke by the way)
My mini-CTM map! It's a fun map, so play it!

Yeah, my internet connection is pretty bad, but I don't know if I can fix that :(.

Thing is you're probably right. XD
Yay!
