You should add attributes to the weapon so its not just an arthropods sword and people might actually use it, maybe an extra heart while wielding it! i just think a Unique Sword needs uniqueness

That's true, but the area has buffed silverfish, and it's also kind of a joke sword.
Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm going to be gone for about a month unless I can get my laptop working, so don't expect any posts from me. It's a shame too, right in time for UHC 12 and Uncharted Territory 3.
This area is an extreme WIP, but I wanted to post something since I won't be able to work on it for so long. Right when I was getting inspired too D:
Camp Belmoor
With night vision:
And a basic progress report:
Spawn: Scattered Dreamworld: 20%. Terrain made, structures made, custom mobs made. No loot or scripted events yet. Needs a lot of reworking, I made it a while ago.
Area: Isle Belmoor: 25%. This entire area is all about gathering basic supplies to take on Fort Belmoor. It consists of Mines, Food Production, Lumber Mill and Camp Belmoor.
Belmoor Mines: 0%. Some planned out in a seperate world, but no substantial progress.
Food Production: 15%. Islands made, farm made, nothing else. Needs a mill, loot, spawners, etc.
Forest of Stumps: 40%. Islands made, forest made, buildings planned, just need to tweak them a bit and add spawners/loot.
Camp Belmoor: 50%. Islands made, buildings made, some loot distributed. I want to make more buildings and see what I can do with custom mobs.
Fort Belmoor: 5%. One sentry tower has been built and filled with loot/spawners, nothing else has been done.
After Fort Belmoor, the map smooths out into regular CTM style intersections.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
There ain't much left of the world these days. The gods have forsaken us, there's no denying that. But still you press on. For what? A chance to sift through the ashes one last time? The hope to one day be called a hero? Whatever your reason, you've got a lot of work to do. The corruption won't leave without a fight, so you better get started.
@Inf how'd you make those islands? They look really cool!
Spoilered because it's really long.
Voxelsniper.
I first make the basic cone shape with /b b m (ball brush) at a size of 3 and a material of stone.
Then I use a smaller ball brush to give the islands more shape.
Next I use a combination of erosion brushes to make the ball shapes less obvious.
Then I spam them with /b sb, the splatter brush. It creates those floating blocks, which I think give a really good "pulled out of the ground" effect.
Since the splatter brush makes spheres of floating blocks, I then use erosion brushes to avoid the perfect spheres.
Then I use /cs build vine b85 to make fencepost roots/hanging dirt/whatevers coming off.
Then I use /b b mm to replace parts of the island with dirt, and use /b sover (splatter over) to make random spots of soulsand and netherrack, as well as cobble and coal in the body of the island.
Then I use /b sb to make the islands kinda connected with floating pieces of dirt.
Finally, I use erosion brushes and manual building to touch up spots that look weird.
It's a big pain in the ass, but I agree that it looks pretty dang cool. Takes a fair amount of practice to learn Voxelsniper, I'm going to be out so ask Krose any questions you have (he's great with VS)

I love the styles of the islands. This makes me even more inspired to work on LoA.
Is this me or netherbrick+obsidian looks really cool?
Don't look at stone in left upper side.
Btw. this is very WIP screen from my "never coming map" (because I will propably get bored of it), which would include tons of traps (even furnaces or chests) only because I want to see people rage.
No railway is safe here.

I think it would be better if you replaced every block with a invincible and invisible ghast hypersawner, otherwise it looks preeeeety coool.
Have any changes been made from the beta?

Yeah, I did a loot overhaul based on your feedback

Looks really good, is this for a CTM map?
Well you're about as close as you can get in minecraft. Looks really nice!

Ha ha you so funny!
It's not as funny as you think it is
It kind of is.
