Also, I come with more DsD teaser screenies! As usual, this area is a WIP, and the angle shows you a very small portion of the full area. I'm planning on adding more details to the walls, primarily lighting.

If I continue to work on this area at the rapid pace I have been, I probably won't be putting up an area name hangman in my thread as I normally do. I will for the next area, though.
I get a very 'Mines of Moria' esque feeling from this area.
-.-
Most of my areas are really dark, which means that this being bright makes the wool more visually achievable. Maybe the reason it looks so bright is because my test world is made of glowstone. Also, snow means snow golems, (there are pumpkins fairly early on) which means the players can have an infinite army. #notafan
Thanks for your opinions and help on the monument 43:8 looks very nice.
@Drago
That looks really cool. The glowstone lighting is very generous, though, with my luck, a punch skelly will still naturally spawn. >.<
So i was surfing through some of SimplySarc's videos, (a youtuber who's like Sethbling, sorta ) and i found this.
Starting to get monument ideas... :/
Very cool, though I don't like how you can't see block after you've placed it (assuming its the correct one). I'd use a normal BUD and trust the player. Besides, if they're going to cheat like that, they may as well go on creative and get the wools :/

1. I think it would look better closed, instead of open to the sky. Or have it set to night.
2. The bedrock spikes look ok. Spikes=good, bedrock=meh.
3. Lava and obsidian sphere look out of place.
4. Very empty.
5. Block variation looks ok, keep experimenting.
And if anyone hasn't seen, 1.6 will be released NEXT week!! Horses!!

While I like how it's going to be released soon, so I can get cracking on Cosmic Chaos, I don't appreciate that they said there would be "more mobs" but they literally added just horses, mules, and donkeys (all of which look the same, and are pretty much the same except one carries items, right?)
hey guys awesome here, I mentioned this in episode 5 of the ctm podcast, But got no reaction. I was wondering since light gray wool is the only one left in my collab map, Should I go ask somebody, Host a contest or whatelse could I do to pick the last person ?
Curse you photobucket and your limited bandwidth... Now all of my pictures on all of my maps show the same pic that is in my sig... ugh, I hate stuff like that...
COMMUNITY QUESTION: In what ways could you use a horse in your CTM map?

instead of handing out railway kits just spawn them a horse to tame and they can ride it from place to place

I like the third one. Here's my own, in case anyone's curious:

The lava looks very out of place, and what is that obsidian sphere?

Sshhhh seekreet!
instead of handing out railway kits just spawn them a horse to tame and they can ride it from place to place
also lots of usages in Continental CTM's
