It needs lighting.. maybe glowstone in the celing. It also looks a bit out of place, maybe also add some kind light source at the center of the iceballs. But it looks good otherwise
I think the lapis is what makes it look out of place, I will probably change it to ice or something.
Meh, if you only put some really rare stuff with your name on it, it doesn't matter I think. Don't go overboard though
Ok, yeah i was thinking of making a Wiggian Armor set maybe... but i dont know, maybe for my third map... But i jsut finished my second map so i think imma take a break from map making xD i didnt lose the building spirit i just need a break

Putting right at the end might be a good idea too. Depends what type of map you are making. Are you making a hard map where you leave buch of signs trolling the player? Or a map where you kind of help the player? If you are going for the first choice, I'd say maybe make an awesome set that is almost broken and costs too much to repair. If you are rather going for the second choice, make an awesome set and give it to the player before the end.
-That's what I would do atleast-
And thus begins the incredibly boring job of lighting up the roof of a huge area.

The area looks cool, but y dont u use replacenear command or are you going for a specific pattern?
SPC has a //replacenear command. I believe it's block I'd and then radius as the arguements. Not very useful IMO.
I swear today is the official community question day lol
Community question: How do you use visibly named mobs? I think using them for bosses is a good idea (like Kamyu and Dinnerbunny) but stuff like chars shouldn't be visible, only seen if/when you die to them.

If it's a mob that plays a role in the story, or is necessary for a monument or the like, use visible names.
Had some good times with Karrott playing some CTM! I also built the most amazing base of all time. It'll be featured in my next map. Here are some screen peek screenshots:
Beautiful exterior.Roomy interior (at least 5 blocks!)
I feel this really emphasizes my map making skills.

Definitely deserved 450th post!
Dude.. that base.. so good.. The glass really make the gravel stand out and the torch placement is just amazing. Truly a masterpiece!
Sorry I didn't word that very well. I mean when should you use named mobs? I only use them as bosses who drop a wool or other monument piece. Personally I use ingame nbtedit

Haha alright.
Yea I'd say only for boss. If not it's not going to be something special anymore and it's just going to be meh when boss comes.
"Hey look! An other named mob! How original!" ´<------ You don't want that do you?

FORUM QUESTION: Is it too.... Self-Centered to put loot named after yourself? I kind of think it is but can i get your thoughts
Yeah The first area in To Greener Pastures is pretty much dedicated to my name XD
Recording issues (and I was a beta tester). Speaking of which... all of my 3 hours of TGP got accidentally deleted. I think I'll restart the LP when I get the new mic, sorry Karrott. However, it is certainly that good!

The lore I wrote for this area may be a bit over the top.

No its the vast area doesnt blend in for a castle area, maybe side towers, i think quartz compliments Lapiz

I feel like I've been robbed. replacenear command?
I don't want the glowstone to be visible.

If yes then using sethbling filter for MCEdit if your best option.
