And we have the first reported finishing! I want address the issues you brought up. Good to know the time it took you.
The whole Arena section is very difficult to judge what is too easy and what is too hard because every player plays a bit differently. I also have to keep it challenging for 2 players. The magma cubes are tricky because they jump and break the spawner cube rules. Minecraft bug in my opinion. They are supposed to max out at 3. Obviously it doesn't work sometimes. But what I found is that once you eliminate the large magma cubes, it's really no problem.
The Dropper section, I'm not what to do with that. The middle segment is there but your computer wouldn't load right away. I think changing render distance to far would fix that.
I can see the confusion of the Minecraft release question. I just checked and there are definitely 4 different answers. I'm not sure why you saw 2009 twice. I've read the history again and I think I'll leave the question as it is. Because it was originally called Minecraft - later renamed Classic. So technically Minecraft was released 2009. Besides, I assume you used wikipedia? Naughty!
And as for the survival picture, I have no idea what that is. The entire survival portion was a world copy. I made the bed rock chamber and spawned the cows and pigs and place the tree and sugar canes. Other than that, I haven't even dug down there except I ran an MCEdit analysis to verify all the blocks needed were there. What is that picture of?
You got all the wool, but did you reach the ending?
HA. I've played for 3 years now, I remember a lot of things, especially 2011 when Minecraft was OFFICIALLY released. What I had meant was that there were 4 answers, but I only payed attention to 2009 and 2011 because I knew one of them was the answer, I just thought the question was about the official release of the game. I also used the bonus room on the puzzles section because the second confused me with the carpets XD

MINESHAFT
Directly under the bedrock box is a mineshaft, that's how I got the string for the painting and fishing pole. There is also a ravine in it, but I haven't seen any diamonds. I just made 10 buckets and filled them with lava, then turned them into obsidian in a mold for a portal.

Excellent "review" / thoughts!
Let me address some of the things.

Adventure is a direct copy of a random seed. I needed a flatish area. I'm not sure I could build an awesome scenery map.
Trivia - I'll think about speeding up the deaths. Yeah I think that could be frustrating.
Parkour - I wanted it to feel like a training level somewhat. Most everyone hates parkour. So yes a lot of it is easy but I think it gives hope to people who hate it.
Survival - Animals will never spawn there since it's an ocean biome. You have 2 cows to begin with and that's all you get until breed them. The reason I picked bookshelf is because it takes a lot of items to craft. I may change it. I'll have to think of something that is as time-consuming to craft but uses other ingredients.
Boss - That's a tough one. I can't really make the area too much bigger because of the way the Wither spawns. Should I change the difficulty to hard?

I think your feedback is wonderful.
Adventure: It's fine if you leave it how it is, as it doesn't really take away from the experience.
Trivia: Alright, nice.
Parkour: Understandable.
Survival: I see what you were trying to accomplish with the animal breeding, but I still think you should change the item because if a person (like me) doesn't think of breeding right away and kills the cows, then they're basically rendering the survival branch impossible.
(And since jonathantai9 is talking about the stuff underneath the survival island, I just want you to know that you picked a pretty awesome location. There's a mineshaft intersecting multiple ravines, and I found a skeleton dungeon that had a Sharpness IV enchanted book. Pretty cool.)
Boss: Not sure. If the difficulty is already on Normal that might work. If it's on Easy you might want to just bump it up to Normal.
Thanks for the reply. It helped me see some of the reasoning behind why you did what you did.

Unfortunately my internet won't let me upload the newest version till tomorrow.
But I did a bunch of changes. I swapped Bookshelf for Powered Rail. Added 2 more cows. There are multiplayer fixes I did too. Changed the boss to hard. Hopefully it makes the game more balanced.

Minecraft was released in 2009. It was LATER changed to Minecraft Classic. I win!
I plan to try to get this in one sitting, so... going to have to wait til at least tomorrow night (I need to be up early to try to get Minecon tickets in the 2nd batch (I was at work when the 1st batch went live and sold out in 3 seconds).
Your opinion: should I use vanilla textures as recommended or Misa's Realistic texture pack like I did for Complex (and am leaning towards using again).

The game was made in default. I recommend that. It's possible because of the visuals, the puzzle branch may be confusing if using another resource pack but you could always try it.
Oh and I forgot, sometimes the endermen in the Arena section teleport away from the arena.
Yes It's very frustrating that way. I'm not sure how to address that. I put a max of 600 to keep giving the player a bunch to kill. But without teleporting the Arena away, I can't fix that.
I like the idea of this map but its way too boring, these levels just go on forever, and I went to go take a break from one of the branches cause it was frustrating and my progress gets removed! Im sorry but I wont be downloading this again, or recommending it.

Sorry about your dislike. Not every map is for every player. Part of the penalty of leaving a branch is that you start again. But there are tons of great maps you can try out on this forum. Thanks for giving it a shot.
(Off topic) Do you know what program you used to record minecraft for your trailer? I'd like to make a trailer for my maps... Your trailer and maps look really good and In the end it was a fun map.
You may be interested in how I got the gold for the booster rail in Survival:
Okay, that particular chest had no gold in it, but you get the picture. I had to visit 3 fortresses before I had enough. I promptly came back, dug down and found tons of gold.
And, in Puzzle, I managed to, without cheating, leave the room:
Carpets upon carpets! However, I soon got thoroughly irritated with the puzzles by the time the room with the mycelium and birch wood came along, so I cheated by most of the rest and ended up using the free wool on it.
Maybe I should add a ceiling. Sadly yes that is cheating. Puzzles too hard? Hint for the birch/mycelium/etc puzzle - "biomes"
My one complaint about this map is that once you break the anvil in the Escape branch, there's no visible way to complete it. the answer dawned on me a little bit too late...

Hmmm you're right. But I didn't actually think you would guess that many times. Maybe I'll figure out a way to fix that.

It's like 10 maps in one!
Note to self: Don't do the Cyan branch.
