My, my. The Complex is feeling awfully trolly today, isn't it?
Anyways, I'm still not too far through the map, but I'm making progress. I'm stuck on the puzzle section (so I might go back to it later or use the freebie), I've done the dropper section, and I'm working on the escape. Having played Complex, the escape section is my favorite so far (especially because it's hilarious).
That being said, the map is incredible so far. Even though I haven't gotten too far yet, it's already exceeded expectations.
Edit: "dasketchmaster was doomed to fall by arrow". Well, that's new.
It was definitely a huge undertaking. I just hope it's worth the time I spent.
I think it's pretty interesting the entire Complex map is inside Diversity as only as small portion. But as you've found out, Complex is altered and condensed and angry. I learned a bunch of tricks along the build and I was able to make some nifty traps.
I'm still not sure if I want to give away the puzzle solutions. Especially since you can get the freebie.
Loving the Map! I found a bug though. I get item id mismatches when I start the map. I am using no mods that edits/changes any item ids. I will post a screenshot of the error below.

I get that too. I'm not sure what's going on with that. The map seems to run fine anyway. I'm going to try and investigate it. I think it's something TMI did to the file.
I think this map is really creative. I just finished it, it took about 2 hours to do. I especially loved the humor put into the Adventure part
I found a few things I would like to comment about (in the spoiler)
In the Arena section, some things didn't work so well (these are just my opinions) :
-I think zombies should be in the first level because they are way too easy.
-Silverfish should be in level two because they are like zombies but more annoying
-Magma cubes do way too much damage, and they spawn too fast, so it takes a long time to kill them.
-The silverfish and slimes seem to climb ladders, one pushed me into the next level.
-The glass in the ceiling is causing the skeletons and zombies to burn O.o
-The skeletons get into battles with each other so all you have to do is watch them kill themselves
-The witches also kill themselves ._.
Also, I got confused in the trivia section. One of the questions said: "When was Minecraft released?" Two of the four options said "2009", the other said "2011". I thought it meant when Minecraft was OFFICIALLY released. I died
My chunks load weirdly in the Dropper part. The bottom chunk is loaded, the top chunk is loaded. The middle isn't. So when I think i reached the bottom, a wood/stone/whatever pole generates in front of me and I die.
I know this is version 1.0.0 so there are still things to improve, but I think it's quite nice.
I fished underground in the Survival section. (If you haven't played the map and are reading this comment, don't open the spoiler because it may spoil a part for you)

-snip-
And we have the first reported finishing! I want address the issues you brought up. Good to know the time it took you.
The whole Arena section is very difficult to judge what is too easy and what is too hard because every player plays a bit differently. I also have to keep it challenging for 2 players. The magma cubes are tricky because they jump and break the spawner cube rules. Minecraft bug in my opinion. They are supposed to max out at 3. Obviously it doesn't work sometimes. But what I found is that once you eliminate the large magma cubes, it's really no problem.
The Dropper section, I'm not what to do with that. The middle segment is there but your computer wouldn't load right away. I think changing render distance to far would fix that.
I can see the confusion of the Minecraft release question. I just checked and there are definitely 4 different answers. I'm not sure why you saw 2009 twice. I've read the history again and I think I'll leave the question as it is. Because it was originally called Minecraft - later renamed Classic. So technically Minecraft was released 2009. Besides, I assume you used wikipedia? Naughty!
And as for the survival picture, I have no idea what that is. The entire survival portion was a world copy. I made the bed rock chamber and spawned the cows and pigs and place the tree and sugar canes. Other than that, I haven't even dug down there except I ran an MCEdit analysis to verify all the blocks needed were there. What is that picture of?
You got all the wool, but did you reach the ending?
Sorry guys. Found a very confusing bug in the 2nd puzzle for Puzzle Branch. No carpet should have been given and part of the redstone wiring was broken.
emm in trivia is says the place where u find endstone is sky? i think in the end no?
The End is actually not a biome it's really considered the sky biome. In the question it asks what biome is found in and technically its the sky biome I believe. Look at post #37 on the topic ColdFusion explains it.
Well, I'm done. And I think it's time to share my thoughts. Grab yourself a snack and get comfortable, because I think this is the most feedback I've ever given for a custom map.
Adventure:
This one was pretty funny. Even though it posed literally no challenge, it was still enjoyable all the way through. At some points I thought it would be nice to have some challenge, but all of the mechanics used in adventure maps are basically covered in the other branches, so you don't need to change anything. My only complaint here is that the terrain is extremely flat. Maybe some hills or something would make the terrain more interesting. And in case you're wondering, I sided with the zombies.
Arena:
While there are a few difficulty fluctuations (Zombies are easier than magma cubes, witches need to be closer to endgame, etc), this one was overall very enjoyable. I especially like how the arenas get bigger as you go. Like you said as a reply to some other comment, though, people have different strategies of mobfighting. Because of this, don't take my word for the difficulty things; if you feel confident in them, I would keep them as is.
Trivia:
I had mixed feelings about this one. Good because the trivia itself was great, but bad because its punishing nature resulted in me taking 45 minutes to do this area. The deaths are funny the first few times, but all of them except for the creepers and arrows felt extremely slow and eventually became frustrating. I realize you want this area to be punishing, but I feel as though some quicker deaths would better the experience.
Parkour:
I really liked the design of the levels themselves with the stained clay, but the parkour itself (to me) felt very basic up until the last few levels. It also tends to be repetitive in some places, an example of this being the level where you do nothing but jump on fences that are at the same height and the same distance apart. The "Mary Had a Little Lamb" level was great, though.
Escape:
This was by far my favorite area. Not only does it have a decent amount of playtime and requires exploration, but it also brings back a lot of rooms from the original Complex. Oh, and did I mention that the Complex's trolly nature is hilarious? Seriously, fantastic job with this one. Don't change a thing.
Labyrinth:
I like how you put some variety and decorations in the mazes instead of just having them be cramped, boring, and too long. Somehow you actually managed to make an enjoyable maze area. I didn't even know that was possible. Great job.
Dropper:
This was also one of my favorites. The levels themselves scale in difficulty quite nicely, and everything was just really well-made. The biome themes were cool and fit their respective levels, and the dragon at the very end was a nice touch.
Survival:
This one was very nice. The item-fetching gameplay was creative, and the processes to find or make the items really emphasize the survival aspect (especially the glowstone).
However.
If there's just one thing in this entire map that I would want you to change, it's the required bookshelf. If I were you, I would change it to something else. The reason for this is that you need leather to make the books, which means your success relies on cows naturally spawning on the island. Plus, it requires a decent amount of sugar cane, and that's already used in great amounts to make the empty map. Because of this, I actually didn't complete this branch legitimately; I got all the other items and then cheated myself a bookshelf after thirty minutes of waiting for cows to spawn with no success (not to mention it would have taken forever to grow the sugar cane).
All of the items except for the glowstone and the empty map are things that can be obtained without doing anything underground. Another mining-based item would do great (lapis block, golden apple, anvil, etc) as a replacement for the bookshelf.
So yes, I understand that my completion of this map was not legitimate since I cheated here. In all honesty, though, being able to say I won the map would not have been worth the hours taken to make that bookshelf.
Puzzle:
The puzzles were fantastic. Very creative, fun, and diverse, as well as challenging. They might have been too challenging for me, though. I ended up getting stumped on the first question in the long hallway (after the life/death segment), so I used my freebie. I feel like this area might be a little long compared to the others, but overall it's fine.
Boss Battle:
Great area, but it seemed way too short/easy to be its own separate branch. If you made the cage a bit bigger, it would be a bit more difficult to beat the Wither, and it would consequently make the area more challenging. The gearing room was nice, also. No other comments here, as there really wasn't much to the area.
Overall, despite the nitpicks I gave out (constructive criticism, yay!), this is still one of the best custom maps I've ever played. I would highly recommend it to everyone, especially if you were to change some of the things I mentioned. I had a ton of fun while playing the map, and the ending sequence was also quite nice. Not only have you actually made a multi-genre map (which by itself is an accomplishment), you managed to pull it off pretty dang well.
(Please appreciate my post. It took 45 minutes to type.)
Well, I'm done. And I think it's time to share my thoughts. Grab yourself a snack and get comfortable, because I think this is the most feedback I've ever given for a custom map.
Excellent "review" / thoughts! Let me address some of the things.
Adventure is a direct copy of a random seed. I needed a flatish area. I'm not sure I could build an awesome scenery map.
Trivia - I'll think about speeding up the deaths. Yeah I think that could be frustrating.
Parkour - I wanted it to feel like a training level somewhat. Most everyone hates parkour. So yes a lot of it is easy but I think it gives hope to people who hate it.
Survival - Animals will never spawn there since it's an ocean biome. You have 2 cows to begin with and that's all you get until breed them. The reason I picked bookshelf is because it takes a lot of items to craft. I may change it. I'll have to think of something that is as time-consuming to craft but uses other ingredients.
Boss - That's a tough one. I can't really make the area too much bigger because of the way the Wither spawns. Should I change the difficulty to hard?
It was definitely a huge undertaking. I just hope it's worth the time I spent.

I didn't intend on having you tell me. I was just stating my progress.
Anyways, I'm on the trivia now. Fun stuff.
No I just meant how I gave the hints to Complex on the forum page. In general, I'm not sure if I will do that for Diversity.
