I find these two maps to be somewhat the reverse of the Portal series. The first being genius, but long to the point of slight boredom, the second being simply short and sweet.
Finished it.
Thanks I always thought the first map was better because it was longer, but longer isn't always better.
Hey Jesper, does the random gibberish at the end of the map actually mean anything?
Also, you still didn't answer my first question: "Is 82716 an easter egg code?" 8/27/16 seems like a very specific date just to come up at the top of your survival worlds!
In the villager room where time is stopped, if you look toward the entryway from the lower part, there is a redstone lamp missing.
In the villager room at normal time speed, the "self-destructing" hallway doesn't get reset unless you fall into the hole and die. (in second run) (I don't even know how that gets reset)
The bridge puzzles are not reset at all. (in second run)
On the last code hallway inside the WTF, the hopper says "item hopper" instead of "insert code"

Yes, it actually says something, but you can only read it by cheating, it's not a very interesting story though.
Sorry for not answering your questin, so many messages ^^
No it doesn't mean anything, I wanted to have a nice round number, but basically you have to input a long chain of numbers like 9347563 and then minecraft will make a date out of it but I couldn't get it to 1/1/20 but maybe I will make a map and upload it at exactly that date. xD
I'm wondering if anyone have found out, how to read the text at the end of the map.
There is a easy way to do it by simply changing a option (you can do it in vanilla!).
I won't say more because it's kinda obvious... atleast if you know a little more of Minecraft...
yeah, but you can't change the textures as far as I know, you'll really have to look in the command blocks. and remove the §k

Great map though, even better than the first one
oh, thanks, I'll change those. when you fall in the hole in the hallway you'll be teleported to a little black room with a lot of spawners around it, the reason why it doesn't get reset the second time you play the map is because you don't get teleported to those spawners, I could have placed the spawners somewhere where you're walking but I thought it would be to laggy especially when no one is going to play the map a second time anyway.
First off, those are some excellent puzzles! The map was incredibly fun, as far as I got into it!
I did run into some issues, however. I understand, first of all, that multiplayer is not recommended, but I tried it anyways with another player. All was great until the puzzle with the clock. Afterwards, the server spammed
2013-07-15 23:18:22 [SEVERE] Item entity 67090 has no item?!
and I am wondering if that was caused by trying to play the map on a server, with other people. In any case it is no big deal to me, but it is a thing I thought I'd share.
What I really wanted to do was ask how you froze the entities like that. The other one who played with me and I speculated as to how this was accomplished, like via minecart rendering entities or something. If you could satisfy my curiosity in regards to this I would be eternally grateful
Otherwise, I'll be forced to dig into the redstone and find out for myself >:3
Just kidding. Anyways, awesome map, I look forward to continuing in single player, and hopefully finding out how you froze entities like that.

Yeah I do get that message myself as well. I don't know how to fix it actually. I think you can't even fix it. Or I would have to remove all the item spawners, but I'm using those for the clocks. Apparently more people have this problem: [11834]
This also happens in single player but you can't see the server log in singleplayer so it isn't really a problem.
If you search on youtube for 'hifolksimadam' he has a video about the frozen entities. I'm not going to tell too much, as cubemagnet said: "A magician never reveals his secrets..."
Maybe I'll make a video about how I did everything. But I said that with the first Code too and that still hasn't happened either.

I'll have to make an appointment to visit youtube sometime, then. Thanks for the response!
I was going through my footage, and I was reminded of a (quite serious) problem with that one room with all the high jumping. That problem being that I took fall damage, and it killed me. Then I had to restart the room.
yeah I remember that happened to me when I tested the map. But I thought it only happened on a certain spot and the chance was very small so I decided it wasn't a big deal really, but I'll check your footage once you uploaded it.
You're gonna have to search for it yourself. All I'm saying is 'hifolksimadam'

Thank you, I'll put it in the main thread and watch it of course.
hmm I could have done that too, but I used the mob statues video.

Putting the CENDENT back in transcendent!

haha, I see...
Oh, also BEST PUZZLE MAPS EVAR
Ooh, a video game of this would be awesome... *Opens C#*
Yeah me and a friend wanted to make the Code in unreal engine, but that probably won't happen.
thanks! tell me when you uploaded it, then I'll play it.

Thanks :D! *takes the diamonds*
hmmm I suppose I'll change it then. It's just a matter of changing the radius. Let's hope it won't affect other parts of the map.
Edit1: i'm now stuck at WTF, i cannot leave W, or at least i don't know how
Did I make a hypercube?
