I just finished a play through of this map, though it was short, it was quite cool. I liked having audio files for most of the map as well. The story was also pretty funny at certain parts too.
By the way, I caught a few references of names of characters from other games. A few were from Zelda. From Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door, I saw the name "Doopliss" and possibly "Darkly" from Twilight Town. The Thousand Year Door is easily one of my all time favorite games (along with Zelda but that's about the same for alot of people :P).
Bug: Voices isn't working
Bug #2: Diary button in beginning doesn't do anything.
If the voices aren't working, then you'll have to be more specific and tell me what voices don't work. Unless you mean the voices once you enter the castle, in which case, that is not a bug - it's explained in the announcements section of the first post. If it's all the voices in general, then your volume settings don't work, or you are playing on multiplayer and command blocks are disabled - but I have a feeling it's not the latter.
As for the diary button, it would start a reading of the diary when pressed. Seeing how it still works in all the recent videos I've seen, I will assume you either don't have the resource pack, your volume is not high enough or you're playing on 1.7 and something broke, somehow.
In any case, I'm not gonna update the map anymore, so no bugs can be fixed - I'm sorry. I just hope that something I've said can point you to whatever way you can fix the issues. Worst case scenario, play on 1.6, haha.

I'm assuming its just changed how they are made or something, and can be fixed, but the custom sounds that worked in 1.6 no longer work in 1.7. Again, I'm sure its something that could be fixed, if you wanted to fix it.

Really? The sound system makes those not work anymore? Huh, I guess that's it, then. Well, the thread does state "updated to 1.6", not 1.7. Maybe I'll fix it later on, then. Thanks for the heads up!
'The heck is 1.6.3 supposed me mean? Do I play it on 1.6.4 or 1.6.2, there's no option for 1.6.3
Anyways I simply LOVED MoM, so I'm pretty excited to see what this map has in store.

I made a 1.6.2 version, but I updated it once more before 1.6.4 and didn't update it after the latter was released. That's why it's in-between. It's not for 1.7, so any 1.6 version will do!
And if you've enjoyed Monarch of Madness, you can expect some similarities, with much more of a focus on battling than puzzles. The narration is still my work, though.
This is a great map! Thank you for creating it.I had a score of 149. Please remember me if you are ever short on testers. Once again, congratulations on a brilliant map; I can't wait to play more.

Haha, thanks! Glad you had fun! If you want me to remember you for testing purposes, just send me a private message through this forum - it's the first place I check after my group on Skype.
I have this really weird glitch where all of the new resource pack sounds are all the original sounds. I went into the files and they were all .ogg. Are they supposed to be like that; I only know the rules to modding Minecraft sounds pre-resource packs.

I'm pretty sure that's because 1.7 messed with the way sounds work - just play the map on a 1.6 version of the game, because the map won't be updated to 1.7 and later, I'm afraid. Thankfully, the way the new launcher works, it's pretty easy to switch between versions both old and new, so it shouldn't be too difficult, haha.
My gosh man, great job! I haven't gotten a chance to play it yet but it looks awesome. The resource pack obviously had a lot of work put in to it, and the music is creepy and unsettling (in a good way). Thanks for the effort!

And thanks for the comment! The resource pack is definitely important, haha. I'm hoping my next map's resources will be even better!
Awesome! Really, good job guy: i liked so much your interpretation when speaking, and very intersting were also the carachters, and them characterization, with the right part of irony when necessary. The only "negative" thing: the map is no very long, but that amazig atmosphere you create was enough even for a single hour of gameplay. P.S. i apologyze for my english
Thanks! I'm glad you liked the characters and the humor, haha. Those are probably my own favorites in the map, for sure. Yes, the length is a little disappointing, even to me - I was hoping for something longer, but the way everything is set-up, it just didn't work. The next map will be much longer, I promise! And your English is fine, don't worry, haha.
I really enjoyed playing this map, but do you think that there could be a sequel made for next Halloween? Oh yeah and here is a screen-shot of my final score! http://imgur.com/DYN6NMV (Click the link for final score!)

Well, I made this one mostly in March and released it in June, so it wasn't really released for Halloween, haha. But once my next map is over, I have no idea if I'll make more or not. We'll see! As for your score, that's good! Two and (almost) a half stacks is very nice!
Gameplay- 4
The gameplay on here was simply wonderful. I did enjoy the start, getting some info on the town. There was a lot of mob fighting, a really nice story, and even a final boss!(this is one of the only maps I have played with an actual boss fight at the end). Overall, very nice work here!
Detail- 4
The detail is just amazing. Insane builds(team variede or hypixel level), Well thought-out, and it even has a custom texture pack! Very nice details in here. Also loved the final boss battle music. I honestly can't think of anything that you can do better here. I mean just look at just one screenshot of this map and tell me I'm wrong.
Storyline- 3.5
The story was great. I like how(unlike most other maps I have reviewed) you keep the story going throughout the entire map. Nice comedy mixed in, and you get this masterpiece. The only flaw I could find was that you did give a choice at the end, but it was kind of forced one way at the end.
Difficulty- 2.5
The difficulty needs work. A lot. Not only did I almost run completely out of swords, but there are a LOT of spawners everywhere. I did think that the finale was well-balanced, but other than that, I got my butt handed to me. A lot.
Mechanics- 3
Very simple mechanics, but they do get the job done very well. No bugs to it, nice checkpoint system, and overall just an epic map. The only flaw I could find is that, while the mechanics do get the job done, they need some specialty(something that sets your map apart(the firework rocket attacks in herobrine's return, for example)).
Overall score- 4+4+3.5+2.5+3=17=Fantastic
This really deserves the attention it gets. Very nice builds, good story, and nice gameplay. The only downside is that difficulty level. Diamonds to you, man.
Also, at the end, it says to go left to play it in a new gamemode, but I can't figure out what to do. U know what I'm doing wrong?
