I dont know why, but the water and lava started falling down, but I didn't put any block around the lava or water blocks. I just slept on my bed and when I woke up i had a terrible lag caused by the lava and the water
I think you should do another version of this, so its like a normal minecraft world, but with the blocks missing in the same pattern as this, or something similar.
This map is so interesting and fun. Another awesome idea by Sethbling
It really makes me nostalgic about the days I played on Minecraft Classic Multiplayer. It reminds me of the guest worlds a lot, which I really like
Anyways, really great map. It's really fun, but falling down after getting a lot of supplies is a ***** XD
Fun map, although it can be difficult to time the early jumps. Also, the nether is just cruel... when I first arrived, my portal appeared next to a blaze spawner and I died a horrible death. Gah!
This map is nothing like skyblock. Skyblock isnt even a block, it's a floating island. Sethbling wrote a script for MCEdit to generate all those blocks. Like skyblock my fanny. He should call it The Grid instead
Awesome map, should I be able to jump from the block I am standing on to the next block? Right now when I jump I fall to the block below the one I was aiming at. Maybe I am just a terrible jumper.

You'll need to sprint-jump to get from block to block.
Also, two words: Quake Pro
Awesome work. This should make for some epic LPs!
No, just the ores.

I have a question since I'm not familiar of skyblock challenges what goals should a person try for.

Thanks alot. I need to practice alot before I try this for real.
