Thank you for all your feedback. I appreciate it, the problem with that other guy was that he was just plain disrespectful and a liar
I thought we'd cleared up that it was a massive misunderstanding in terms of audience and expectations?
Plus, Rurouni never said anything about "the other guy', so why reply to him about it?
I may be 12 years younger than you, but I think it'd be best if we just drop it now? You're bringing yourself down to the same level by carrying on referencing it.
Sorry, I might consider doing a Let's Play soon and doing it the "right" way.

The post i was replying to asked if it was ok to give criticism, this might have been due to the previous posts and i wanted to make it clear that i do want feedback
You guys are being pricks. Blame just makes a map with the right to accept or deny C&C and he thinks you two are not being very helpful comment wise. Now that you 12 year olds are done, go back to your basement.
Some reasons for why i did the things you mentioned:
I felt the first map was a bit too small and I had wanted people to do a little more exploring which is why its so big.
I am curious about the puzzles being "samey" because i have not seen many people use BUD switches that much. Also my puzzles are meant to force someone to think outside the box with unconventional design.
The last chambers only open under certain conditions that a map note tells you about. That should cut down on a lot of the searching.
again thanks for the feedback and I am glad you like the ending. the third one wont be arriving for quite a while though
I also want to add a note here that when you give feedback and constructive criticism about a map the proper way to do it is exactly how Mexxy did it.
Disrespectful, rude, insulting behavior and blatant lying like what Fangride did tonight is not, and moreover will remove any credibility you might have
I'm sorry, but now you're just throwing insults around, and trying to provoke me. I gave very similar feedback to Mexxy, but you instead removed it and instigated an arguement. Nor am I ever obliged to be even slightly polite to you. I don't see why you continue this. I really do expect more from you, and hoped we had ended this with at least a bit of respect still. Here, let me propose something. I'll send you a request on Skype, and we can have a real and civil discusion on the map. Trading insults and poking at each other with jibes is doing nothing but making both of us look like asses.
Calling me a LIAR for stating my opinion is just rude, again.
Also further, here's a re-worded version of my review, so maybe you'll listen this time around:
Kingdom of the Sky: The World Burns was a map that tried to live up to the original, and build-wise, it topped it. The world was a desolate and generally beautiful place. However, even through the amazing builds, the map suffered in numerous ways, that cut the enjoyment of the map down quite a bit. When I started, I was a bit confused. I wasn't quite certain how I ended up where I did, considering the end of the previous map was in a tunnel of sorts. I assumed the tunnel was just the "credits", and ignored that. I moved down the tunnel, hearing monsters screeching around me, expecting a fight. Luckily, no fight was encounted, and I managed to quickly find some gear in a hidden chest, and then the normal gear in the "gear area". I was excited - I was really looking forward to the map. As Ghasts rained down fireballs on my head, forcing me to constantly be on the lookout, I was suprised to not be attacked by other mobs as well. The story progressed a bit, and I realized the narration had "devolved" slightly. In the original KotS, there was swelling background music, that provided a lovely backdrop to the events.
With this map however, it was just plain voices; no backdrop; and the voices were simply tacked together, which I eventually discovered was because the way it was recorded was that each actor was given only their lines, and a general emotion to emulate, which in the end sounded confused and lost. It was really unfortunate, as I had really high expectations for the map that popularized voice-overs. In short, they were bad. Even you, Blame, didn't sound connected to the actors at all, and even the writing had problems. If there was a fantasy trope you could have fallen into for the map, you basically did. Two major Deus Ex Machina appeared; The Source, and The Burden, the villain and one of the main characters used to be friends, the villain taunts us constantly, has his own realm, has his own dark tower, there was a time travel plot introduced, the villain was destroying the world, the main character had to undergo a "test" of character... It was almost exhausting! There was so much that ws quickly predictable, but at the same time, so much that almost felt useless by the time we finished the map. The Burden ended up being nex to useless by the end, as The Deciever, of course, survived anyway. Why take that test, when we should have returned to the Kingdom of the Sky and hunted down the piece of the Source instead? Also, I feel you missed out on a MAJOR plot-line by not having our character visit the "other two realms" to find the pieces.
Since this was ignored, and our character was instead going after some items that, in the end, didn't matter anyway, I felt like we wasted our time in the story. Speaking of going after the Burden, the puzzles.. Oh the puzzles... They had problems. Really, really, realy big problems. No, you're not the only one to use BUD switches. They're quite popular in adventure maps, actually! But the way you used them, by texturing your Redstone Ore as a normal stone brick was a major issue later, when you're dumped into a room, and it appeared you were supposed to right click every block in the room, intil you stumble across the redstone ore. You also really overused the Maze from the original KotS. It was rather annoying then, and having to deal with both the Vault, having an insta-death scenario for GUESSING incorrectly was just annoying, and then seeing it again with the spring, while easier, just started to annoy me. I'd love to see more original puzzles, but using BUD switches, Ocelots (A heavily inobvious puzzle), and a simple square shifting puzzle was less then impressive. The puzzles were more of a burden to complete than they were fun, and I was looking for fun. In KotS, your puzzles had hints, hidden around carefully, but here we were deeply expected to rely on luck. The Redstone ores, the Cacti in the castle (OH MY GOD... They... argh... I switched to my normally-used texture in the section, as I was beyond done dealing with random cacti in the way), and the vague instructions felt really not-though-out, and I feel the designs could have been much more cleverly done.
The texture pack was a nice touch, though I would like to report a small bug. While on "Fast" graphics, the leaves on trees bug out, and let you see through walls, as they have gaps as if they were on Fancy.
You also mentioned you felt KotS was too small. I largely disagree. The fact you built a map that you could see a large amount of it from the opening, and actually was able to explore *ALL* of it, in a proper sequence, was very well done. Here, it was TOO large. The long empty gaps between dialogue, puzzles, or fights felt quickly stale, as wandering a long canyon is NOT exciting, especially once Creepers got nerfed per request. You need to add something to hold interesting during the "down" times. Offering freedom to move is nice, but in a linear story, you generally need a linear map. Being able to get lost, literally, in where you are isn't good, and I spent far more time than I needed to, trying to work out where I was going. You also mentioned difficulty, but with the large spaces, and the quick armor upgrades to great protection within a half hour of playing, I felt like the challenge had decreased heavily since KotS, as mobs were quickly and easily spaced out and killed. The first and only time I felt like there was a KotS-esque monster fight was when we made our first decision, and I selected the right path. I went into a small enclosed Guard-Tower of sorts, and had to use the environment to break up monsters and defeat them, which was a fun and harder challenge.
In the long run, KotS2: The World Burns was entirely a step down from the tight, controlled, and well pased KotS. The map was too sprawling, the puzzles and directions too vague, the monster fighting generally too easy, and the story falling into multiple cliches and tropes, which left the map feeling a bit too stale and predictable. The builds were gorgeous though, and the texture pack had a felt apocalyptic feel to it; feeling like a Mash-up of Last Days and the DokuRPGcraft.
Can someone give me a hint, I'm a bit stuck.
I'm at the part where you have to find the secret passage in the mansion.
I found a ladder that goes down but it just leads down to 2 rooms with no secret passage.
Am I missing something?
Just finished with my friend. We had the same thoughts. I give the map a 7/10 due to a common( weak in a way) story, and the puzzles were... a bit on the easier side. If I didn't get them at first and left, I came back and knew automatically. Voice acting was exceptional. the map itself was, in a way, lacking detail and we often got lost.
Detail:4
Story:3 too cliche
Challenge: 7 puzzles were too easy
Overall:7/10
Final thoughts: Lacks in places where the first KOTS excelled.
Blame I think your being unreasonable here, Fangride was giving you constructive criticism (I have seen what he's said, and it's not insulting) he was not in any way that I could see insulting you or lying, if someone doesn't like your map, and wants to give you advice on how to improve it, then don't be insulted, listen to what they have to say.
I really like your work so don't think I'm raging or anything, but it really is rude, because he isn't raging, it's like he said, he's giving his opinion in a nice way, just be glad it WAS nice coming from another decent mapmaker and not some 8 year old kid who thinks his opinions should be put in place in every corner of the world.
Let me be crystal clear about this, what he posted above is NOT what he originally posted on the videos themselves. On the videos he was very disrespectful, rude and insulting.
Right now he is trying to pretend like he did nothing wrong and is quite frankly lying about it.
Other people have given their feedback which i was more than happy to listen to. However what he said and how he approached me is completely unacceptable and I will not tolerate people acting that way toward me or the others who helped in this project.
Not only that but his review itself is, pretty poorly done so any criticism he does really loses value.
So here it is: He was disrespectful, rude and insulting, he got blocked from my channel and came to the forums to whine about it. I am done dealing with that immature person and this discussion is over. Anything further on this subject will be ignored as it is wasting everyone's time.
YES!!!!!!!! I have waited so long for the release of this map thank you so much for the first had a really great time downloading now and am looking forward to an awesome Sequel.

Blame, you need to give it up. Seriously. We both acted like children during this, but I took some time, cooled off, and tried to be an adult about it. You continue to be rude, disrespectful, and frankly just nasty. As you can see on the thread, I'm not alone in my thoughts either. In my Youtube review, I posted, clearly and consisely, what I liked, and did not like. Because you viewed it as "negative", as shown in the image a few pages ago, you removed it. It wasn't spam, as spam is someone spending 20 comments devoted only to the letter "L". You over-reacted to constructive critisism, and really acted poorly in the long run. Your constant needling now, every time you post, is getting old, and is appearing more and more childish.
And I really love that you continually talk about how you won't "tolerate rudeness", but you've been consistantly rude to me since my comments were removed. Also, since you removed aforementioned comments away, it's my word against yours, and the way you're acting isn't looking very good for you.
I'm also very curious why you're so quick to discredit my review. Care to respond to it, and show me how it's poorly done? Or does the fact I do reviews for maps every few days mean nothing to you? Since this has started, you've been unwilling, and possibly unable to address my reviews at all. Care to take the chance now, or are you going to continue puffing out hot air, claiming I'm wrong, a liar, ect., without ever showing ANY proof at all of the fact, or will you finally man up and respond to me? I've been trying to get you to address my review since yesterday, and even after prompting back on the earlier pages, you've yet to respond.
Last chance Blame. Finally respond and perhaps try and dismantle my arguement if you can, or keep spouting this crap about me, and look bad. It's disrespectful to me and to those who play your map, that you can't even be bothered to respond to concerns, nor do an update at all. It's not that hard, trust me.
Fair enough, I didn't see what he said in the video's so I can't really put my views forward
But Fangride if you want to be mature about it and you think the other person isn't then just leave and shrug it off, best to ignore it if you think it's important.
I'm honestly at that point. If Blame, who is over 10 years old than me, can't take ConCrit without flaming, I don't see why I should bother.
May i ask why i spawn in the middle of a flipping ocean on 1.2? :c... i wanna play on 1.2 cause i have Tekkit, and it reduces a TON of lag for me when i play.
I thought we'd cleared up that it was a massive misunderstanding in terms of audience and expectations?
